A couple of weeks ago there was a demo put on by Sir T and His girl R. Although the demo was well attended by TMP members. i know it left a lot of you with many questions and maybe even some fears about this other lifestyle that seems to have invaded your club. Believe it or not we've been there for quite some time. Granted not all BDSM couples are swingers, but then again not all couples are swingers. i'm hoping that with my post, which is probably going to be a long one. i can help put some of those fears to rest and maybe answer some of your questions.

First let me introduce myself, i'm candy. i'm one of the newer members of the TMP staff. For those of you that don't know me, you can usually find me selling raffle tickets, doing tours, cleaning or doing laundry or whatever else needs to be done. What some of you may not know about me is that i'm a submissive, just like R. if you would have told me five years ago i would enjoy the things i now crave, i would have told you that you were out of your mind!!!! Still here i am, learning more and more about myself every day enjoying the new experiences and sensations that i have been privileged to be exposed to.

i know that some were taken aback by what happened to R during the demo. i can say this with the utmost certainty, nothing happened to her that she did not want to happen or know was going to happen. Yes we do play different. But in our lifestyle everything is negotiated, there are limits that are set up between the Dominant and submissive when they enter into their relationship. Yes those limits are respected and honored by both. There are rules and guidelines that we adhere to. Are they set in stone? No. Are we mindless individuals that blindly obey and accept? No. We very much have a voice and a say in what happens. The difference is in how we approach it. We can always discuss things openly and honestly without repercussion. Just like in any relationship if there is no communication there are problems. we are our Dominants most prized and cherished possession. They would never intentionally cause us any physical or emotional harm. Let's face it. You can't play with broken toys. What we give them of our body, mind heart and soul is a gift and is never taken lightly.

Another thing that may have shocked you is when R asked permission to cum and called Sir T “Lord” and was denied at first. This is something that is taught and again mutually agreed upon. Would he expect you to call Him Lord or Master no. That is something that is reserved only for his girl. Even others like myself would not, although we would refer to Him as Sir, simply because He is a dominant. No different that any name you would have for your better half that is simply for the both of you.

The way i try to explain my lifestyle choice to my non lifestyle friends “vanilla friends” is that this is much like an 1800's marriage. The collars that we wear are much like the wedding bands that you wear. They are a symbol of commitment between the Dom and his sub. We have a voice but we defer to our Dominants to make a final decision, knowing He will do what is best for all of us. There is a deep trust between us our relationship is built on that. it is our need to be in service and to perform well that drives us. There is nothing more that anyone wants to here is i'm proud of you, well done. We are rewarded for good behavior just as we would be punished for bad. in our lifestyle what we and how we behave directly reflects on our Dominants, so this thought is always first and foremost in our actions, wherever we are. You're probably thinking OMG did she say punish????? No it's not always corporal, some of us enjoy that too much so it wouldn't be much of a punishment *giggles*. For example if you run your credit card over the limit or he is bringing the boss home for dinner and your decide to do McDonald's instead, wouldn't your spouse be ticked? He probably take the credit card away or even close the account, he may not say anything in front of his boss but you can guarantee he will later. Or if you're at work and decide your not going to do your job the hell with the deadline your boss gave you. is he going to say oh well we'll get it next time? No. It's no different for us.

Believe it or not there are a lot of similarities between the two lifestyles, swingers and BDSM and follow many of the same rules. Were we all born to this lifestyle? No but then again neither were you. it was something that we explored and discovered enhanced our relationships and brought meaning to who and what we are.

in BDSM just like swingers no is no. You don't touch unless you ask. You treat those around you with respect. The concept we follow is called HARD Honor, Accountability, Respect and Duty. After a play session we wear our marks proudly because we know we have served Him well and yes gives us the warm fuzzies and heightens our senses and makes sex afterwards even more amazing than you can possibly imagine. Remember after R was untied she played in the ropes she wore like a kitten playing with a ball of yarn. We learn and grow in our relationship just like you. We are always learning and growing just like you are. if you don't it gets old and boring.

A Wedding Swinger Style!

Yep you read that right! Saturday June 21st there was a wedding swinger style at TMP. Two of our TMP regulars Charlie aka Carlos Man of Love and Cheryl aka Princess of all Cuteness and Giver of Divine Orgasms were married at TMP!

The downstairs was beautifully decorated by our own Lisa who did a fantastic job! Standing up for the bride and groom were The DJ of Funk, The Goddess of Everything Good at TMP, me, Candy, and L giving the bride away, although the minister officiating did his best to talk him out of it.

The bride wore a white corset, gstring and garterbelt with white stockings, showing off all of her cuteness, while the groom wore a leather vest and chaps showing his cute fuzzy butt*giggles* D you have competition!

The minister's outfit suit him perfectly. What may you ask was that???? A very becoming devil thong, yes, he does have a card that says he can do this along with keys while you wait :) .

Now was this your traditional wedding ceremony? You've got to be kidding! We have discovered that the DJ of Funk has other talents besides spinning great music. He wrote the ceremony! (btw Trish will be posting it as well for those that want a copy)

The audience participation was climactic making this a wedding for all who attended one we will not soon forget and I'm sure the newlyweds won't either.

Thanks Carlos and Princess of Cuteness for sharing it all with us. It just goes to show the lengths that TMP will go to for it's members.

So if you have an idea for a party theme, games that we can play, and especially music that you want to hear speak up. The only way to make it happen is to let someone know what you want. That's what this club is all about, the members. Without you there is no TMP.

Amateur Stipper Night

WOW!!!! What a party. We had a Competition and all of the ladies did a beautiful job doing their strip tease, I actually won, but the competition was definitely hard. There was a tie breaker between T and myself, and K got 2nd place. The win could have ultimately gone to anyone. There where a couple of newbies, they where great and I am positive that they had a wonderful time. Dave's was great as usual and he kept the party going all night. There where lots of people there to join us in the fun. We had a bachelor and bachelorette party we just had a great night. If you haven't been to the club you definitely are missing out on a lot of fun, so cum see us! Kristina

Memorial Day Weekend (Friday Saturday and Sunday Night) 5-23-08-5-25-08

We are back to posting events that happen at the club! Staff has been extremely busy with the planning of parties and were just unable to get to the blog so we will try to get back to normal with this.

Friday night was a good sized group and a lot of fun. Good food and great conversation, not the typical Friday night, more couples came out to have a good time.

Saturday night was just awesome, Games were just great the guys had to use the sticks of plungers between there legs to get toilet rolls (in between the girls legs) carry them to buckets and drop em in. The girls had to suck m&m's with straws and transport to a cup (hilarious) the girls where really using those skills! The weather was just awesome, food was great. Barbecued ribs and chicken, fruit salad, potato salad, and pasta salad. Lot's of good times, good music, and great people on Saturday.

Sunday was beautiful, we played volleyball, Hillbilly Horse Shoes and hung out on the deck and had great conversations and just a great day. Remember : Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner where served all weekend. Dinner on Sunday consisted of kabobs (chicken, beef and pork) fried veggies and salads. Everyone had a great time Sunday night too, The party was smaller than Saturday night but in this case smaller wasn't bad it was good.

Those of you who just haven't had the time to come out and visit really should come on out and see all the fun you have been missing. There are always newbies, and of course we have our awesome DJ who plays the requested music for everyone except Kristina (just kidding) he listens to me every once in a while. See you at the club.

Who or What We're you?

We had a nice group both Friday and Saturday night, both night brought some new faces, so welcome to all of you, we hope you enjoyed your time with us. The game Saturday got started off a little slow, it seems with so many new faces on Saturday we also had some shyness. I give the more experienced club members credit though you jumped right in and got all the newbies asking questions too....so good for you all, that's how it should be.

Dave as always did a great job with the music, and had the dance floor hoppin most of the night. As usual though the best of the action took place upstairs, and we all know what happens at TMP stays at TMP so you'll just have to come out for a party to find out about that.

This coming Saturday is Truth or Dare, we're gonna change this up a bit from past games and make it a team game. We know you all love the team games and sometimes even get pretty competitive, but this time should just be a whole lot of fun. So how daring are you? We're gonna find out on Saturday night. We will be starting the game at 10 so make sure your there before then to participate.

Fetishes are fun

We had a couple of really great parties this weekend. Friday night was an awesome crowd, many more than is usual, and that made for a really great party. The free Friday's is really catching on and lots of people are taking advantage of getting the whole weekend for 1 price. This is good for those who can only make it on a Friday, because there's more people to party with.

Saturday night was another awesome crowd, we all learned something new I think with the fetish definitions game, and we spent some time learning a little about each other playing Bingo. Those that chose to dress up in their favorite fetish outfit, really looked great. Thanks C for making Ed his rope dress, Ed didn't get to see much of the party, but he looked all ready to play.

I would also like to thank C for taking the time to sit and talk with people and share your knowledge of toys and the BDSM lifestyle, I know many people found it very interesting. You've always been great about doing the demos and talking with people, so thank you for sharing your knowledge.

The dance floor stayed pretty full on Saturday night too, so thanks Dave for doing such a great job getting everyone in the party mood. Thanks also to C for selling the raffle tickets, you did a great job. For anyone who doesn't know we use the raffle money to make improvements to the club, if you haven't been there in the last year you've missed all of the renovations to the meeting area, make some plans to come check it out soon. The money from the door covers the clubs bills and that's about the extent of it, so the extra raffle money has been going a long way to fund projects that have needed to be done for years. I want to thank everyone for their support, we know you have fun with the raffles, but it makes a big difference in your club as you can see. We will continue doing them throughout the year and keep making updates and improvements to make the club more enjoyable for everyone.

This coming Saturday is a game we've played before; " Who or What am I?". We pin a small slip of paper to everyone's back coming in the door, it will have on it the name of a person or thing. You basically walk around and ask everyone yes or no questions so you can guess what your person or thing is. It's a great way to spark conversations with people, so have fun with it. Let's see if we can get 100% participation on this one, and really get people up and talking.

Catching Up

Sorry everyone that this post took so long to get down here. I have had nothing but problems with my computer for the last month. It's all better now, but I did get to realize how many of you actually read this and miss it when it's gone, so I apologize for the lack of blogs.

We've had some really great parties over the last few weeks, so just a brief catch up on those. Mardi Gras, as always was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a good time earning the beads. The treasure hunt despite the staff mistake went really well and everyone including the newbies said they had a lot of fun with that. For the luau we heated up the inside despite the fact it was freezing cold outside, we had a really great turn out for this party despite the horrible weather. Casino night the weather kept the crowd a bit smaller but the group that was there had a blast, black jack and poker seemed to rule the evening and thank you to our busy dealers at those tables, you guys did an awesome job.

So the renovations to the meeting area are now just about complete, the last thing left to do is the wood dance floor and we will finally be done. It's all already been purchased it's just a matter of getting it cut and laid down. Thank you to everyone for your words of encouragement and compliments on everything already done, it really means a lot and makes our whole team want to keep going to make TMP the best club in the midwest.

For Friday nights even though the crowd has picked up a bit, we will continue to run the Friday special. It's kind of nice with the small groups on Friday nights, we see a lot of people playing cards and just getting to know one another. FYI.....there's all sorts of cards and games in the locker room on the shelves, please feel free to use any of those while you are there, just please put them back when you are done.

We've been listening to your suggestions as well, we've heard many times that you all really enjoy the games we've been playing so we are trying to do some type of game every weekend to get people up and mingling. Not everything gets posted to the events page, but we are trying to have something every weekend, so make sure your arriving by 9:00 to be included in those activities, especially for those of you who say you are having a hard time meeting people.

Valentines Party is this Saturday and we have a great game planned, especially for you ladies who felt left out of the receiving end of Mardi Gras. So make plans to join us.

Funny T-shirts

Friday we had a nice party, not too busy but some really great people. It was nice spending the evening with all of you.

Saturday was actually much busier than I expected, given the fact many of us had just gone home from the New Years party on Tuesday. I know the staff was pretty exhausted Saturday night, but it was still a really good party. We'd love to hear what you all think of the new bar and the changes to the meeting area, please leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

In case you didn't see or already hear through the yahoo group, the new bar was installed on Saturday. I personally think it's awesome and don't miss one bit climbing under the old one.

We had a very busy year in 2007, with all the changes at the club, and a whole bunch of new members, and a lot of fun along the way. We posted the poster boards at the club for all of you to share you TMP memories for 2007 and many of you did. You can find those on the website, so check them out. If you didn't get a chance to add yours yet, we're leaving them up through January and you can also e-mail them to info@meetingplacemichigan.com.

If you were at last Saturday's party, I know many of you already have one for 2008, at my expense, and that's ok at least I got my most embarrassing moment out of the way early, all those that helped out with that one, there's a lot of year left for you to get yours in. I'm sure when we put the posters up next January, that BJ will be at least on a few peoples minds. Now if I would have just had the thought to come out and bow, you all could have had an even bigger laugh, oh well next time. It was very funny, so my hats off to D who got them all started and C for getting his side of the room going. If you missed it, sorry you'll just have to hear the story some other time. LOL

Say goodbye to 2007 & Hello to an exciting 2008

New Years Eve Weekend.......wow not sure where to begin.

This was a really big weekend for TMP, 4 nights of parties and each one different. So let's start at the beginning......

Friday night was a nice party, not too crowded, but we had a good sized group. We had a couple of new couples join us, and they were just awesome. Had a couple who hadn't been back for a long time, it was really nice to see them as well. Some regulars and some semi regulars made for a nice well rounded party.

Saturday nights party was very busy, we really weren't sure which would be more popular Saturday or Monday, but if Saturday's crowd was any indication, we figured Monday would be just as good if not better. Great group on Saturday, lots of laughs, great food, terrific music and dancing and everything else that makes a party fun.

Sunday night we did the Rocky Horror thing, no we didn't manage to get all dressed up, the majority of the people attending this party were those spending the whole weekend, so we mostly attended in our jammies and got comfy for the movie. We popped pop corn and threw rice and just had a lot of fun and laughs.

Monday night was standing room only, even with the additional space added before Halloween, we still had people standing, but no one was complaining either, this just gave people more of an opportunity to mingle and head upstairs early. At one point at the door we had 12 couples and it seemed like every time we'd get the door closed another couple followed right behind. The party actually got started fairly early too, and Dave kept us dancing all night. We served a catered dinner, and had lots of food and fun through out the night. We did our count down just before midnight and celebrated with a toast and champagne punch.

So that's the quick explanation of the parties. There was a lot of work though in throwing this party together, and not just from the staff and Phyllis either. So all of us at TMP have a lot of thank yous to go around. First to all of you who came out to spend the weekend or attended parties, thank you for supporting TMP and making it such a wonderful place to party. To everyone who stayed the entire weekend, all of you pitched in at one point or another and helped out cleaning up in between parties and after meals, a huge thank you from the staff for making our jobs that much easier. We all got to see the best example of how quickly a team of people can clean up a room after the Rocky Horror Show, it was so wonderful to just see everyone, and I mean everyone help clean up and move things around and get what needed to be done done. This is what TMP is about. Our staff volunteers their time to help make TMP a better place, but when you all jump in and help like that, it's just an awesome thing and makes us just glad to be apart of such a wonderful community. All of the people who spent the weekend, helped out all weekend long along the way, even the little things make a big difference, just keeping the coffee going was a huge help. So once again thank you to all of you who were there all weekend long.

To the TMP staff, full time and extra board, thank you all for pulling this all together and making things work so smoothly. You all helped with things all the way from planning to execution and beyond, so thank you all for putting in the time and effort to make sure everyone had a great time. I heard over and over again all weekend long just what a wonderful job we're all doing and it's just so nice to hear that, especially when it's coming from long time TMP members who've been there through all the changes over the years and have seen it at it's worst and best.

The staff at TMP works at the club because we love TMP, we love the people who come there and we love helping you all have a good time. We don't get paid, but we do it because we care about the club and Phyllis. We're very fortunate, we have an awesome staff and if you don't know who they are take time to meet them and talk with them, we all go to parties for the same reason you do, we just help out along the way.

So my personal thank you to all the staff: Lisa, Chris, Laurie, Larry, Don, Don (ATF), Mike & last but not least Dave......thank to you all for making New Years 2008 the best New Years Party TMP has seen in a long time. Thank you all for the help, the hugs, the laughs, the sweat and the tears this year! Here's to hoping 2008 brings us more laughs and maybe a little less sweat and tears! lol We all accomplished a lot this year in the way of changes to the club, and to think it all started with a little late Christmas gift to Phyllis last January with the purchase of the new carpet for downstairs. I know I never thought then, we'd not only be buying more of that carpet but making some major drastic changes to go along with it. We've worked hard though this year, and our downstairs renovations are just about complete and I know I for one am very excited.

I have a few more very special thank yous before I close this final edition of our blog for 2007, I want to thank all of you who've bought the raffle tickets, sold the tickets, torn the tickets, pulled the tickets and made donations to club improvements and the raffles, TMP is an expensive place to run and without your help everything we've accomplished would have taken a much longer time to complete.

We know we started the raffles to do the floor only, and we are, but we felt the necessity to expand downstairs and make a few changes before putting in the floor so that nothing would have to be redone again in the near future. TMP has expanded in membership a whole lot this year and we want everyone to be as comfortable as possible while your there. I think the expansion downstairs helped accomplish this and it does really look cool too.

When it's complete there will be a new bar, and I know you'll all be excited to know, you won't have to go under it anymore. There will be a new dance floor, and all of the seating areas will be carpeted. This will all be accomplished the first part of 2008, and it's because of all of you that it's possible, well that and some help from a contractor, our chief engineer and some more of that sweat and tears from the rest of the staff and volunteers.......lol.

So thank you, and we will continue the raffles in 2008 to make even more improvements in the club and hopefully make every one's experience at TMP that much better in the future.

So as we say goodbye to 2007, we are really looking forward to 2008 and all the exciting parties and hopefully a lot more of those laughs and good times we all shared in 2007.

The Butler Didn't Do It

The louse of a husband did, although he killed the wrong person. Well anyway that was how our Murder Mystery turned out.

Friday we had a really good sized crowd. Nice party and some really great people.

Saturday nights Murder Mystery was really a lot of fun. We had 6 volunteers take on the roles of our characters, CJ, M, D, L, M & J. Thank you to all of you for a job well done. Everyone got to participate though even if they didn't have a part. It was much like playing a live game of clue.
We also found out we may have a few actresses among our members.

4 People in the end guessed the murder was the husband played by L, and he was actually trying to kill his wife and killed her sister instead. They looked very similar in the dark.

Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to share, that was probably one of the best Pot Lucks we've had in awhile.

The rest of the party went really well, we got in some dancing, thanks M for helping out with the music. Then the party moved upstairs and into the hot tub.

I hope you all had a very nice Christmas. This weekend we are having a 4 day long New Years Party, so by Tuesday I figure we'll all need a vacation. Hopefully though we will have a blast and it's looking like we will have a great crowd all 4 nights by the reservations.

The following weekend of the 5th, we're having a funny T-shirt night, I know you all have at least 1 funny T-shirt, so come on out and show them off.

I can't wait to see what 2008 brings to TMP. We're saying goodbye to one really awesome year of change at TMP, but 2008 will hold more surprises and hopefully a lot more fun as we continue to grown and make improvements to your club.

We've also had some momentous occasions to remember:

Team 4, our special team during pictionary, and team 1 who promised to show them later and didn't

R and her goat.....you had to be there for that one

Dave winning the sexy buns contest even though he didn't participate and everyone else just decided to write him in (his face was priceless)

L and her farm animals (maybe her and R should get together)

Numerous funny costumes, and not just for Halloween

Some awesome food, especially those veggies for Memorial Day weekend

J coming out in a thong to surprise Dave (notice a trend, everyone seems to like to get Dave)

B willing the BJ contest on Gigolo Night ( although C was a close second)

The best part of this year for me personally though was watching our little club really become a community of people. Didn't matter what you looked like, or how long you'd been coming or who you knew, everyone just really got along. New couples always felt welcome, seasoned couples took on the task of helping along the newbies, and everyone just pitching in and helping out where they could. If only everything in the outside world worked as well, we might all have more peace in our lives.

Masquerade

Friday night, I'm sorry we missed most of the party. Dave got stuck working late. I hear you all had a nice time though. Thank M& J for filling in and waiting up.

Saturday night I was so pleased to see so many of you with the really nice masks, we had them at the door but of course ours weren't as fancy as those you all brought. This party was a bit smaller, but the weather wasn't cooperating either. I do want to thank everyone that came out and braved the weather, I know a few of you only came to help me celebrate my birthday and that was really nice of you all.

I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday with all of you, especially those sharing the December birthdays with me. I hope you all had a nice birthday as well. The party itself was a lot of fun, and we had some of the greatest people there. I had a blast dancing and talking with so many of you.

Hope to see many of you for the Christmas party next weekend as well as the 4 night long New Years Party. We're going to have some awesome food and just a really great weekend.

Pictionary

Happy Holidays Everyone! We had a really nice party Friday, we had 2 new couples and a few regulars and some not so regulars. It was nice kicking back and relaxing and chatting it up. Welcome to the new couples we hope you will join us again soon.

We played Pictionary Saturday night and we used 4 teams, we split the couples up for these teams in hopes that you get to each meet 1/4 of everyone there and when you get back together as a couple you know at least 1/2 of everyone and can mingle a little easier. This seemed to work well for many of you, I noticed a lot of people out of the chairs and up and talking. That's the whole point to playing any game in the first place.

Pictionary itself was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs, we're not sure exactly how it happens, but poor R always gets the goat reference in there sometime during the nights she's there playing a game. Pictionary was no exception. Some of the drawings, I'm not exactly sure what you all we're thinking when you drew them, but obviously your teams were well suited because we didn't have too many that were missed.

In the end with a challenging tie breaker, team 4 beat out team 3 for 1st place. This was a really good thing too, for a long time while playing pictionary being on team 4 meant you had no chance to win. Well this time team 4 ended up with all the perverts in the bunch and managed to pull it out at the last seconds. (sorry no pun intended)

The rest of the night many of you disappeared upstairs and in the hot tub, while some of us stayed and danced. A, B and I got Dave to play us some 80's music and danced out butts off, sorry to everyone who wanted to let the 80's die successfully. We had a blast though and Dave did manage to get the rest of his requests in, so everyone had a good time.

This coming weekend is the masquerade party, and we have a few people that will be there celebrating their assorted birthdays, so should be a great night. Please remember to bring your toys for tots, this will be our last night for collection.

Sorry everyone I had a much needed break from the blog for a while. I've had some personal things to attend to and a lot going on with the club and unfortunately just not enough hours in the day.

So we missed writing about a few parties in here and I will do my best to go over some details here about the missed events.

So we had the Wet T-shirt/ Sexy Buns contest in there. That was a really fun party. We had a lot of ladies participate and C was our winner for the night. Our own DJ won a write in campaign for the Sexy buns part, but of course that was just a joke and the club members were just trying to get him. He didn't participate.

The next weekend was Hooker night, the winner for that night was our very own blog writer CJ, and the following weekend was Gigolo Night the winner there was B. I have to say ladies the guys definitely come up with more interesting way for you to earn money than you do for them. I think so of the ladies are just a bit afraid of being bold. Dave got the guys going though for the ladies and at one point we had all the ladies in the club sitting all over the dance floor while the guys gave lap dances, I have to admit it was fun to watch.

We've had a lot of new couples and singles over the past few weekends, so welcome to all of you.

Happy birthday to all of our November and December birthday people.

I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, and us too at the club. This Saturday we have Pictionary, always a fun game. The following weekend we have the Masquerade party and then our Christmas Pot Luck Dinner on the 22nd which will be a Murder Mystery night.

Please remember to bring in your Toys 4 Tots, and help make some kids Christmas just a little happier this year.

New Years Weekend information is posted on the website, please remember to get your reservations in for the parties that weekend. Reservations need to be in by Dec. 23rd to be counted for the discount.

One final note, with the snow and ice we all know occurs during the winters in Michigan, please consider staying over at the club when you are there for parties. Driving during the bad weather is hazardous on it's own, but even if you've had only a few drinks it can be deadly.

Phyllis' Birthday Party

We had a really nice party Friday night. Some awesome conversation with some new friends and some old ones.

Saturday Night's Pot Luck dinner was really nice as well, we had about 12 couples come for the dinner portion of the party. That makes it nice to be able to get to just sit and talk with people over some great food. After dinner was cleared up we moved into the regular party portion of the night, and despite so many people walking in and telling Phyllis Happy Birthday, she was still surprised. We had balloons ready for her and a cake, and some gifts as well from not only the staff but many of you. Thank you to everyone who helped make this birthday for Phyllis very special.

Dave got Phyllis out on the dance floor for a slow dance, and she enjoyed very much dancing with all of you wonderful guys. Then we went right into a snowball dance and got Phyllis to help us out with that too. I know she has an immensely good time, she was still talking about it on Monday. So everyone that came out and participated in her birthday party, thanks you made her year.

The party went on from there as usual. We had 4 new couples join us for the evening, welcome to all of you we hope you come back and see us soon.

This coming Saturday is the Toga party, so hope to see lots of you there for that.

Don't forget our Toys for Tots drive is going on now, so please bring those toys in with you.

Halloween

HI Everyone,

I know I missed the last few parties here and I apologize. We've been making a lot of changes at TMP and I just haven't had the time to just sit and write. I did want to get in something about the Halloween party though because we just had an awesome time, not that the other parties weren't just as great, but with all the website work, expansion at the club and Halloween party planning I've been doing there's just not enough hours in the day to get everything in.

So with that said onto the new stuff. Friday night we had about 12 couples, we had a really nice time even though we didn't get a whole lot of sleep.

Saturday was the biggest party to ever hit TMP, and it was well worth the wait. To everyone who made reservations, thank you that helped us out so much in our planning. So our start with the fun stuff, welcome to all of our new members who joined us for Halloween, there were 5 new couples and 1 new single lady. We hope you all had a ball, and will keep coming back for future parties.

Pirates and Priests seemed to be the running theme for Halloween this year, so where were all you pirates during the treasure hunt??? LOL Anyway we had a few originals, the John and Lorianna Bobbit was great, and apparently everyone else thought so because that costume won them a free party. Kristina who writes occasionally for the blog here won for The sexiest costume, you made a lovely nurse Kristina, but I'm pretty sure I heard Dave asking for a Therapist. I think that was because of C's costume, he was a priest with a twist and I'm not sure I care to explain that any further, but he won for Scariest. B rounded out our winners for the night for his Most Original Puppy dog, he kept telling me all night he wanted to bury his bone, I dunno was kind of strange, not sure if he ever got it buried or not.

This party continued on late into the night, and I think everyone had a ball or maybe even 2 depending on what you spent your time doing. We did discuss not letting the DJ and KJ drink anymore before we let them do Karaoke, but everyone still had a lot of laughs and got a lot of dancing in.

I was so glad we were able to get more space in the meeting area, it did really help make everything not feel so crowded, we hope you all enjoy the new space. We've grown so much over the past year as a community and every once in a while you just have to let a seem out here and there. Our goal is to have the meeting area finished by New Years, it's a goal at this point though and since all of us have other jobs and the holidays are coming on quickly, we will try our best to keep that goal, but are not making any promises. We are putting that raffle money to good use though, and you can already see major differences, we will keep doing those raffles and putting in even more to your club.

Ok so I have a lot of thanks to give out over this party and if I miss anyone I apologize ahead of time, but we had a whole lot of help and I know I at one time or another thanked you all personally so please don't be too offended if I miss anyone. First starting out the week before the party, thank B for staying late on Sunday and helping us decorate, The cove looked great and you had such a great idea with all the pumpkins.

C & D, thank you so much for all of the extra work you put in as well as the tours, you are one awesome host couple and not sure things would have gone as well with out you. To G & S and P & R , thanks for assisting our new couples as well. Our host couples do a fantastic job of making the new people as comfortable as possible and we truly appreciate them.

To C, thank you many many times for those great sandwiches, everyone raved about them and you just did an awesome job.

To J & J as always thanks for bringing out the Karaoke, it's always a blast and I know Dave really appreciates the bit of a break here and there in the booth.

To everyone that picked up tables, towels, restocked paper products and anything else around there, on behalf of the staff we thank you, any little thing you do means one less thing we have to take care of.

To the rest of the TMP staff, I don't have to tell you how great I think you all are you already know that and together we pulled off one hell of a party. All the food you made and the pre-party cleaning and set up just went so well for such a big crowd. So when you at the club and you see the other staff members: L & L, C, L & D let them know just how awesome they are.

We already received a few very nice letters about the Halloween party as well as the party before. I am re posting them here, only removing the authors full name to protect their privacy.

Hi Trish, L, Dave and L,,,, thanks for approving me last week and making me feel welcome.....sure is different than 1989,,,, the activities,Dave's DJ set up encourage meeting and mingling.... I met bunch of nice people that nite,,,, and would have been very happy with just that,,,,, even if no one wanted to take a chance with the 'new guy'.......although things changed later in the evening,,,and i ended up staying til 4 am (pretty busy i might add.....lol).... I will be having shoulder surgery Oct 29,,, so probably won't be back til after the first of the year.... But, again,,, thanks for your faith in me and your great club...... R in Kalamazoo

Next week we are celebrating Phyllis' Birthday and we're kicking it off with a Pot Luck Dinner starting at 5:00, we already have some people who've told us what they are bringing, you can find that on the events page of the website. Phyllis has been throwing parties every weekend in her home for all of us for 21 years, it's only right we throw one for her once in a while. Since this is her 65th, Birthday we are leaving all the Halloween stuff up and throwing in some over the hill as well. She doesn't know we're celebrating her birthday, I know you think she would have figured it out, but she hasn't, she thinks it's just a party party, so come help us celebrate her birthday with her and have a good time yourselves.

String-A-Long Party

Hello Everyone

We had a really great party both nights this week. Friday was spent talking, getting tarot card readings (one of the club members did them) and even some tv watching and card playing. We had a really nice crowd and it was nice just kicking back and relaxing.

Saturday night we had 2 new couples join the party as well as a new single gentleman, we hope you all had a good time and come back and see us really soon.

We played a game on Saturday night and we know many of you wanted to know exactly what a string-a-long party was. We'll we gave each of our 4 teams 200ft of string and asked them to get creative and string each other together, speed wasn't the deciding factor here creativity was. This gave everyone a good chance to work together. Then once they were all tied up, we surprised them with the object of our game. The object to pass a key along that string they just spent time wrapping up in their bodies while it was still all tied up.

We all had a lot of laughs watching as teams raced to see who could get their string from one end to the other the fastest. The Green Alien team won, but actually everyone was a winner because they all got to know each other a little better and some even a little more intimately. Ok I think everyone enjoyed that except for maybe K who actually complained he had too many women's hands down his pants....go figure?

We also had 2 birthday's that we're celebrated, C & R, we know they both enjoyed their lap dances.

The evening's events didn't really end there though. This was a dancing crowd and we managed to go through every line dance in the DJ's music collection and we also did a snowball dance, which I think everyone enjoyed, this gives everyone the opportunity to dance with multiple partners and before everyone was done the entire club was on the dance floor.

Then the fun started upstairs, I head tales of a large twister game in the long room, and I know when I walked through people were just having a good time everywhere. So all in all it was a really great weekend.

Thank you to all the staff and host/hostess couples for helping out and getting everything taken care of. We have just added a new Host/Hostess couple to help out with tours, Thanks G & S for saying yes. That brings our total of Host/Hostess couples to 4. We really appreciate all of them for taking the time to make the newbies feel so welcome.

One more mention about Halloween, we are at 40 reservations as of today. We are cutting the reservations off at 60, so if you plan on coming and haven't gotten that reservation in yet, please do so soon. Send your names, and tell us it's for the Halloween party to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. I will send back an e-mail confirming your reservation, or you can sign up on the official list at the club on the bulletin board.

We have also put the prices on the website for New Years and have begun taking reservations for that. We will get the weekends events and meals up as soon as we have all that planning done. I know it's awhile away, but it will be here before we know it so start making plans now.

Pot Luck ~Lingerie Party

Hello Everyone

This past weekend we a big surprise ready for our guests. We opened up a new room in the meeting area. "The Cove", as it's now being called is a nice cozy sitting area for people to talk and get to know one another. With the size of the Saturday parties getting so much larger we needed some extra seating space, and we got it in just 1 weeks time.

So if you missed the opening of "The Cove" this weekend you must come check it out. We will be putting pictures up on the website this week but it's just so much nicer in person. We have a few more surprises in store for the next few months and we just know you won't be disappointed, so keep coming back and seeing what we've been up to.

Saturday night we had a really nice Pot Luck dinner, the food was awesome, thank you to everyone who brought a dish. You all Rock! Thanks to Lisa for showing off her BBQ skills, we really appreciated it. Even though the weather is getting colder and we won't be able to BBQ, we will continue to have Pot Luck dinners over the winter. We will just cook the main course indoors. So make plan to join us for one.

One of the many reason I used to like going to our summer home was the sense of community our Pot Luck dinners there gave you. We are trying to bring this same feel to TMP. You really get to know everyone and there's no sexual tension, just good food and good conversations. This is a club where all the members should feel welcome and just come out to have a good time. I just love too when we have newbies come and enjoy the Pot Luck, it takes a lot of those initial fears out of the situation. They start to feel comfortable more quickly and just seem to have a great time. So if you haven't attended one yet, our next one is Oct. 13th @ 5:00pm, make plans to attend and see what it's like. If you already know your coming please drop us a note and let us know what your bringing so we can share what dishes are already taken on the website. just send an e-mail to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. The theme that night is dress for your favorite era and we will be playing a musical game.

We had a lingerie theme for Saturday night, and ladies you all looked very lovely. Many people spent time in the cove checking things out in there and the dance floor was rocking as well. We had a total of 4 new couples and 1 single gentlemen as well as a new lady, so welcome to all of you, we hope to see you back really soon.

Next weekend is our String-A-Long Party. Everyone's been asking exactly what this is and the only thing I can share with you is this is an ice breaker game everyone can play, totally G rated and just meant for fun. If I tell you all about it now, it will sort of spoil the game and we don't want to do that, do we? I can tell you it will involve all of you and some string if that helps, for there rest you'll just have to be there to check it out.

The following weekend on the 6th we will have our Naughty or Nice night, we will be playing a game to go along with that theme too, Halos & Horns Spin the Bottle.

We have already started taking reservations for Halloween and we are at right around 60 people so far for the party. So remember to get those reservations in as soon as possible we might just fill up on this one.

When sending reservations for anything please use reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. Send us both of your names and which party you are reserving for. This way we know which list to add you to. If you sign up for events on SLS, please send us an e-mail too, it's great so many of you are letting others know which parties you are attending on there, but some of you we may not recognize you from your SLS screen name so it doesn't always help us with reservations.

Gigolos & Pirates

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry this Gigolo Night post is late....I was sick all week, so I'll be doing the Gigolo Night and Treasure Hunts together this week.

Gigolo night was a whole lot of fun, we didn't get as many guys as usual to take part, but the ones who did I'm sure had a ball. We did throw up some challenges to the guys participating and they earned some extra cash that way. We had them treat us to a dance on the floor, we pulled the Birthday girls out on the floor to give them an extra treat for their Birthdays too.
C & C we're both celebrating their birthday's that night.

Then C put a challenge out to our gigolos to see who could give her the best BJ. We only got 3 of them to participate, but we all had to agree B won that one since he made her cum, not an easy task to make a strap on orgasm.

Carlos, man on Love, was our overall winner for the night, but it was a very close race for all of our Gigolos. Thanks to all the guys that played, I know all the ladies really enjoyed it.

This weekends party was a lot of fun. We had a smaller party on Friday, but still fun.
Saturday night we had a pirate theme and we sent our guests out on a treasure hunt through the club. I have to say the staff was a little nervous about putting this all together for you. We weren't exactly sure it was going to work, and we were very pleasantly surprised when it worked out really well.

What we did was divided everyone up into 3 teams, this time we left the couples together. Each team started out with 1 clue, that would lead them to the next and so on until they found the treasure. The first team to find the hidden treasure would win a prize. Each team had a total of 5 clues, located in various places throughout the club. For some of the clues they had to solve a riddle, or a math problem in order to find the next clue. The final clue would lead them all to the same place and to the prizes.

The green team won in the end finding the clues first. Each couple in the team was given a gift bag full of some goodies for them, a discount coupon, a video, some lube, some lotion, etc.
We hope you all had a lot of fun with this, as nervous as the staff was about pulling this one off, we felt it went really well for a first attempt, of course we're always open to suggestions for the next one if you felt we could have done something differently. We plan these types of games and events so that you all can just have a little fun and hopefully get to know one another better, that's what it's all about. If you have ideas for games please feel free to let us know, we're always open for suggestions.

We had 4 new couples join us on Saturday night, so I'd like to welcome all of you and hope you come back and see us really soon. We also had 2 couples celebrating their anniversaries with us Saturday night so Happy Anniversary to T & T , 8 years and A & D, 21 years! Thanks A & D for bringing that cake to share too.

Couple of things coming up and then I'll close this one out. Next Sat the 22nd is our next Pot Luck, party starts at 5:00 and we'd like to know ahead of time what everyone plans on bringing so we don't get a lot of doubles....please send those RSVPs to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com.

Halloween is approaching quickly, and with the size our parties have taken on we are highly recommending you make reservations for this party. So please start sending those reservations as well to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com.

Labor Day Weekend

I hope you all had a nice Labor Day Weekend!

Before I get into the actual events of the weekend I want to start with some words of thanks. One thing I really got a lot of this weekend was a true sense of community, people pitching in and helping out and making things just a bit easier for everyone. To everyone and anyone who pitched in and cleared tables, helped with the meals, towels, the fire out in the yard, folded blankets, emptied ash trays and garbage, and the million and one other things it takes to keep a weekend party going all weekend long, the entire staff and all of the host couples at the meeting place thank you. You all made a huge difference in making our lives a little easier and giving us a few extra moments of relaxation.

I'd also like to thank everyone who brought food and helped cook all the food all weekend long, S & R, C & C, R & S, C & D, C and L, thank you, you all helped keep everyone well fed all weekend long. To J & J, thank you as well for coming out and bringing us some Karaoke and extra entertainment, it was a blast. To our 3 couples who we're our team captains, S & R, D & C, and R & S, thank you so much, you we're a huge help in getting people organized and keeping things moving along. Finally to C thank you for the wax Demo. People really seemed to enjoy it and had a lot of fun with it. I know you yourself had a good time doing it for everyone, but you gave up quite a bit of your party time to share some of your talents with everyone else and it's very appreciated. To anyone I might have missed thanking, I am truly sorry, it was a very long weekend and I know I am missing some personal thank yous that are very deserved. We do truly appreciate all of the help each person gave and it personally means a lot to me to have so many people just pitch in and give a hand.

Ok now onto the party report......the first word that comes to my mind is WOW, my second thought is I think I need a nap.....lol. We had one hell of a weekend, this party just about blew away any party thus far this year. I can't really tell you how many new couples we had or what the numbers were per night, because personally one day sort of ran into the other for me and I'm not sure who came in when, I just know there were a heck of a lot of people there over the weekend and we had a ball. And as Dave put it, Labor Day sort of kicks us off into the swinging season, as the weather starts turning colder we all look for more activities to do indoors to keep us occupied and warm. Why not swing? So this usually sets the pace for our fall/winter parties. If Labor Day Weekend is any indication of the parties to come, then we are going to have one heck of a fall/winter.

I personally had some really great conversations this weekend, and so many laughs that my sides literally hurt. We really hope you all enjoyed the games on Saturday, we know for some of you that was a bit of a stretch to get you out there playing but you all did a great job and your all winners in my book. More importantly we hope the games got you all to know one another a little better and made everyone feel a little more comfortable about talking to others. The games themselves, while fun, are really meant to help break the ice and just get people up and talking and interacting. Since it seems so many of you were upstairs interacting later, I supposed the games served their purpose.

J broke out Karaoke for us on Saturday and Sunday night, and you know...... some of you all can actually sing. We had a lot of fun with that, and ok I may be a little prejudice just cause I'm married to one of them, but I think J and Dave did an excellent job on both nights of keeping us entertained with the music. I know Dave really appreciated J being there to help out and give him a break for a while. I also know between them and a few other people coaxing we got a few people to pop their Karaoke cherries......and see no one laughed and you were among friends so it wasn't so bad now was it? Maybe you even had a little fun with it? I would assume so because many of those same people got up to do more than one song....so congrats to all of you for stepping out of that box just a little bit more.

I really am at a loss for words in describing the rest of the weekend. It was a very long weekend but also a whole lot of fun. If you missed it, all I can say is you missed out on a lot of fun, and if you were there you know we all had a great time. So a few announcements and that's it for this week.

Happy Birthday to our 3 Birthday ladies from this weekend, we hope you all had a great time celebrating your birthdays at TMP.

I need to mention a word here about smoking and being upstairs, there aren't many rules at TMP, but one of them is NO smoking upstairs at all. While cleaning up on Saturday morning we came across an ashtray and a whole bunch of cigarette butts in one of the rooms. This will not be tolerated, it's a huge hazard and it's dangerous. We have plenty of areas for you to smoke in there is not excuse for smoking in an area that it's no permitted in. I myself am a smoker and if I can stick to those areas so can the rest of you. There is way to much bedding upstairs for everyone to have to worry about someone dropping a cigarette, possibly while others are sleeping. For this reason alone, no longer will anyone be able to even take their cigarette packs upstairs with them, we don't want to hear the excuse that your afraid someone will move them or take them from a table downstairs. If your that worried about them get a locker and put them away when you go to bed. We're all adults here and should be able to follow a few simple rules to make everyone's experience a little more enjoyable. These rules are posted at the club and there are signs on both of the stairways, so please don't try and use the excuse you didn't know. Not following the rules can terminate your membership with TMP, and while we'd hate to do that over something so small, we will to protect the safety of everyone else. So please if you don't know the rules, just ask and we can provide you with a card that has them all listed, or check out our website and read the rules, there's a whole page dedicated to just that.

Next Saturday night is Gigolo night, always a fun night for everyone, let's see how much money we can get these guys to earn. There is also a festival in town over the weekend and some of us plan on going to see a free concert of Friday night. If anyone is interested in joining us for that and then heading to the club afterwards, we will meet at TMP to drop off our things and then head over together. The concert starts at 9, but we'd need to get there a bit early. Plan on getting to the club around 7 if you'd like to join us. We will also leave word with Phyllis about where we will be at and a way to reach us for anyone who arrives after we leave. Don't forget to take advantage of the Free Friday's and make a weekend of it, there will be other things going on at the Festival on Saturday during the day, so I'm sure you can find something to occupy your time in between parties.

Our next Pot Luck is on the 22nd, and we're already starting to get reservations and people telling us what they will bring. I will keep a list posted on the events page of the website so we all have an idea of what food is already spoken for. The club will be providing steaks and burgers, so we just ask that you bring the side dish. These pot luck dinners have brought a real sense of community to TMP and we will continue them on throughout the year, everyone who has attended one said they are just so much fun and you really get to know people a lot better just sharing a meal together. There's no sexual tension, no pressure to be on, just a bunch of open minded people sharing a meal together and forming some great friendships. We hear all of you when you give us comments and suggestions, and the feedback we get from all of you gives us the kind of information we need to provide the parties you all want. The Pot Luck you have all made quite clear is something you'd like us to keep up, so we will continue to do these at least once a month. We will always keep a sign up sheet on the bulletin board so check that out when you are at the club. We do need your help though, as these Pot Luck dinners keep growing in size, we do need a little advance notice about how many will be there for dinner. This does help us with planning for our part of the food, as well as helping you all with the amount of sides. Even if you don't know yet what you will be bringing, at least let us know your coming, this will help everyone plan accordingly. We can fill in the dishes later.

We got Them all Wet

We had a really nice party this past Friday, and 1 new couple joined us for that. We had quite a few couples there taking advantage of that Friday special and getting it free when they paid for Saturday. It was a nice relaxing evening spent getting to know one another better.

Saturday night's party got off to an early start, we had quite a few guests arriving before 9:00, so that was really nice. We had a whole bunch of new couples for Saturday nights party. 7 to be exact and 3 single ladies who came with 3 of the couples. So welcome to T, T & R, B who came with B& S, S & G, S & C, B & K, K who came with S & S (newbies from last weekend) , A & J, K & K and D& D. We hope you all had a wonderful time, I did get to spend some time talking with some of you after the party and I know you all said it was a lot of fun. We hope to see you all back really soon.

We had 3 Birthday's in the house as well so Happy Birthday to T, M & A......we hope you all enjoyed your dances on the floor.

So with all the intros and getting the newbies acquainted with everything we had our Wet T-shirt and Sexy buns contest. We had 5 guys compete for the sexy buns and I think we had 12 ladies, sorry I lost count there. K was our winner for the sexy buns, but we gave all the guys a participation prize just cause they had the guts to get up and do it. For the ladies we had a tie between J & B and Dave just couldn't get a clear winner by applause after he did the 3 way tie breaker pole dance. So we gave it to both J & B.

Thanks to M for getting all the ladies wet, P for taking care of those guys, and to everyone that helped us get all the water off the floor afterwards, it was greatly appreciated.

Once we got the floor and everyone else all dried off Dave got the ladies on the floor for ladies dance and they did their thing out there on a packed floor and by the time the ladies were finished the guys were more than ready to join them. Shortly after that the upstairs got really active and people just had a great time. I know I saw the twister board and room getting used a lot, so I hope you all had fun with our over-sized game.

This coming weekend we have our Labor Day Party, the staff has come up with our own version of reality tv games for you to play all day on Saturday. We're going to make this a team type event and we will be picking and talking with team captains from those who are there on Friday night. We will take time to lay out everything going on for them to give them the opportunity to share that with their teams as people arrive on Saturday. So come on out and have some fun with us. We'll have some great food all weekend long and some games I'm sure will bring a few smiles. Saturday and Sunday night Dave will be keeping the dance floor going and we may even have a few surprises in store for all of you. I know we have 2 Birthday girls that will be there so far celebrating with us, both of whose names start with a C.

The following weekend is our Gigolo night party, we know you love to make those guys earn that money, and we'll have 2 more C named girls there celebrating our birthday's so they'll even have a few extra bucks to spend on you guys. The Weekend of the 15th we are doing a Pirate theme and we're going to be having a Treasure Hunt and there will be a prize for the winning team who can figure out the clues the fastest.

The weekend of the 22nd is our next Pot Luck, these parties have been so much fun. It's a great time to just kick back and relax and really get to know people. What better way to do that then over some great food. The theme for the evening is lingerie, so everyone should be participating in this one, pull out that stuff you've been wanting to show off and just kick back and relax.

We just had another incredible weekend. Friday night was a nice smaller party, but with great company and a lot of laughs we had a really great time. Welcome back to a couple of old friends from TMP we hope you had a safe journey back home on your bikes. We also had a new lady join us Friday night, welcome to you C, we hope you had a blast all weekend long.

Saturday nights at TMP have gotten pretty wild and crazy and this past Saturday was no exception. We surpassed our numbers for Hooker night last week and we just had a ball. We had 5, yep that says 5 new couples, so welcome to all of you, we hope your experience was a great one and you will all return back to TMP in the near future. We started off the night with some nice mellow music, then we got Dave in his booth to get the dance floor moving. After he got everyone all nice and warmed up dancing we got them all cooled back off with a frozen T-shirt game. We raced to see who could get on their frozen T-shirt the fastest, thanks R for being a good sport about your shirt......it was all just in fun. D was in 1st place and we had 2 ladies follow close behind him. Some of the ladies who had really been working up some heat on the dance floor really appreciated the cold frozen T-shirt to cool them off.

Next we held our contest for the best use of a towel, P took away the prize for that one, but I have to say some of you got really creative with them. D's was creative even if he had to take a lot of flack for the cocks. Next up was ladies dance and Dave got the floor going once again, only this time it was just for the ladies and our favorite non gender specific mascot ED, Ed sort of got drug out onto the floor to share some time with the ladies, so congrats to you Ed on your first ladies dance! Dave followed that up with some audience participation songs and completely filled the dance floor, you were a great group for getting out there and having some fun.

We celebrated 4 birthday's as well and all 3 of the ladies and the 1 gentleman all got their birthday dances, Happy Birthday to all of you, we hope you all had a great time. Thanks too to everyone who got up to help them celebrate.

Later as the downstairs emptied out the upstairs quickly filled up and that's where I'm sure the best fun was had, by the noises around we know at least some of you were having a really really good time.

Well this past Saturday was a night of many events. We started the evening with a potluck. What a way to start an evening - good food, good friends, and good conversation. If you have not been to one here, try to make it - we will be doing them at least once a month - they are really worth it. You get to meet new friends under a less sexual atmosphere and make connections before you consider the sexual connections. You may even get to play a little topless volleyball!!!

We being my lovely husband Larry and I went to the club on Friday. I have always enjoyed the Friday parties. They are a little more laid back and you get to know people better. There is just something about sitting around flirting and drinking and letting the work week role off of you. I got to talk to an interesting bloke and his wife who told stories of his homeland and swinger clubs there. I also got to talk to my neighbors. Yes I said neighbors. I always enjoy talking to her she is very funny. I also talked to the couple that grows the best tomatoes in the world. I will tell you though his outfit was better on Saturday than on Friday. The skirt was the best. If only I had your legs. :)

We came back on Saturday, for my favorite theme night, HOOKER NIGHT!!! I came in ready to party. I was not let down. The place was crowded. I missed the pot luck and all the great food. There was some great left overs though. I started off playing human bingo. Interesting game. I had to find people that could sign my sheet. Let me tell you there is a lot of people that shave, have piercing, my favorite have had anonymous sex. That got a lot of people up and moving. Hooker night and oh so much more

If you missed the party the past weekend you missed a whole lot of fun. We had 12 couples in the house on Friday night, 1 of them new so welcome to you. I don't know about the rest of you but David and I had some awesome conversations with everyone and a lot of laughs. The Friday special has taken off in a big way, what a difference a free party makes.

Saturday was just amazing, most of the couples who joined us Friday either stuck around for the day Saturday or came back Saturday night. We had a lot of fun all day long. When it came time for the Pot Luck dinner we probably had 18 couples and a few more that trickled in during the middle, and the food was incredible. Just to give you all a sample of what we had besides hamburgers and hot dogs (Thanks C & L for cooking those up) we had some of the best ribs I have ever had, hot wings which Dave just thought were awesome, some very excellent chips and dips, terrific assorted salads, R's famous baked beans, and a whole bunch of awesome sweets. You all can cook your butts off. Sorry M that you didn't get any of that shortcake.....it was da bomb ......hahahahahaha.

The food although wonderful isn't the best part of our monthly Pot Luck's it's the people and the real community feel it gives to everyone. This is a time to just meet people, sit and relax with good food and great company. There's none of the tension you might feel through the rest of the party, there's no nervousness, it's just people getting together for a meal and getting to know one another. The noise level from the conversations around the room was just a joy to hear, it was just everyone having a good time. I really suggest if you new and nervous about coming to a club for your first time, make plans to come to a pot luck, it's just so easy to get to know everyone over some great food. I have to say too the classical music in the background Dave treated us to for a while made for a really relaxing atmosphere and just something nice and light for dinner.

After dinner many people moved outside to the deck for a game of topless volleyball, there we're probably as many spectators as there were players but everyone had a very enjoyable time. Those that chose not to hit the outdoors spent time getting ready for our hooker night game. So we had a lot of plans for that night and after we got all the food moved upstairs, we got things rolling. We started off the night with a game of human bingo, there were so many new people, or people who hadn't been to the club in a while that we wanted to get everyone up and talking. This game works like a charm.

After we did 2 rounds of Bingo, we moved onto our Hooker night game. Let me tell you, some of these ladies worked their butts off, but we know they had fun doing it. Our winners for the night actually tied, it was J and A who took away the prizes. This too though got a lot of people talking and turned up the heat of the party. By the time the game ended we had a packed house, probably our best party since Memorial Day. Dave then got the ladies up for ladies dance, while the rest of the staff prepared the upstairs for our BDSM demonstration.

We we're fortunate enough to have a professional Master (Dominant) in the house on Friday night and we convinced him to show off his talents using volunteers from the club. We quickly found 2 of the 3 needed volunteers who we're both pretty excited about the possibilities. They would be volunteering for the bondage demonstrations.

I would like to point out here before I get into what exactly was done that Master C had lengthy conversations with the 3 of us individually prior to everything that was done, please keep this in mind as you read the description below. He also spoke with our spouses and made sure there were no problems there as well. We knew exactly what to expect and nothing was done that he did not have permission from us to do, which included including others. We all had words and actions, if we could not use words, to get us out of anything being done at anytime. There was never a time when something was done to any of us that we didn't expect or give permission for. This is what safe, sane and consensual means and Master C followed that to the letter.

We used the Twister(Long) room for the demonstration, and I'm pretty sure we had 100% participation during the bondage demonstration. Master C was very good at explaining everything he was doing and making sure to point out the safety aspects of it all. Master C first made a rope dress for C to wear and then bound her hands in front of her. Then he bound L's arms behind his back while Master C's wife did some bondage on his genital area and invited the ladies to give him some pleasure. Master C went back to C and had her lie down on the bed and people we're invited up to heighten her senses, M took him up on that and used a vibe on her, she was quickly having an awesome time. After a while he placed the vibe inside the ropes across her stomach and let the vibrations travel down to the rope between her legs, she had multiple orgasms this way, and it was very interesting to watch.

Then it was my turn, I got up and disrobed (which was actually the hardest part of all of this for me) I was told to use the wall to brace myself against with my arms and once he explained to everyone what was going to happen he began flogging my back. I do know that C even though she was bound did watch this demo and she herself found it hard to watch but after it was all over and she asked me about it, and I explained, she asked if she could try it out. Master C obliged and she found it to be quite enjoyable. I won't add to that, I'll let her tell whom ever she likes, because I can't speak for her, but I can tell you she and I were all smiles the rest of the night and probably the rest of the weekend. I will say again this is not for everyone, but it was a demonstration meant to teach and maybe even take away some of the curiosity that exists about certain aspects of BDSM. I want to thank Master C and his wife C for giving us such a great demonstration and taking the time out of their play time to do it for us, from me, I was pleased to volunteer and had a very good time.

Any one who wants more information of anything that was demonstrated or if you weren't there and have a curiosity I urge you to look into it further, do some research on the Internet, there's plenty of good information out there if your willing to take the time to search it out. Just like with swinging anything related to BDSM can be customized to fit into your relationship and it should go by what you think and feel. This is not a form of abuse, this is to heighten the senses and you should find pleasure in what you are doing. When gathering information make sure it's from a reputable source and don't ever let someone else tell you the way you have chosen to do something is wrong, unless it's unsafe. Make Safety and Caution your number 1 priority when attempting anything like this, and if your attempting bondage in any form have a back up plan in place to get someone out quickly and safely should the need arise. For his ropes Master C had ready a pair of medical safety scissors. So no matter what please play responsibly.

The party went on from there and I really think everyone had an awesome time. I know for me personally it was a really great night and one I won't forget for a very long time.

Wow everyone what an awesome weekend! Friday night we had 10 couples and a single, some new faces too. We had a blast, welcome to P & J and M & A, and T who came with A. We had a return new couple welcome back to you as well, J & L. Plus some faces we see on a more regular basis, so we hope all of you just had a great time. It was really nice to meet all the new faces and spend some time together before the big party on Saturday.

Saturday night we started out slow, guess all of you were out enjoying the nice hot weather. As the night progressed though we had a full house and a whole lot of fun. Quite a few of our couples from Friday night took advantage of that Friday special and partied with us both nights. We had lots more join us throughout the night. A few faces I know haven't been back in a long time, and I know you all liked the changes too, so thank you for all the nice compliments.

To everyone one of you that comes out and parties at TMP, a few times a year, or once a month, and some of you each and every week, we love having you there and we're glad you keep coming back. It's because of you our staff works so hard to try and make each party as much fun as possible.

If you didn't get a chance to check out our harem night decor, come back over the next 2 weeks, we're gonna leave it up for awhile since our next couple of parties really don't have decor to go with them. We really loved the way it turned out and we hope you did too. It gives the meeting area sort of a warm feel, at least I thought so. It's been especially great for our newbies, they get to meet a few people before the whole crowd shows up and they're finding it much easier to walk into the bigger party because they already know a few people. After the pot luck there will be plenty of time for the ladies to change and get ready for our Hooker Night game. If you've never played this at TMP before, it's always a lot of fun. The guys are given play money coming in the door and the ladies have to earn it. What you do to earn it is up to you, remember you never have to do anything you don't want to do. This game is just for fun to see whose the bravest of all and can earn the most money. So come eat, play, laugh and if your lucky "play" some more.

August doesn't stop there though. The 18th we have the Towel party, and ok maybe a towel is a little intimidating for some people and we understand that, so we're not telling you what size towel it has to be or how you have to wear it. In fact we're giving away a prize for the most creative use of a towel. So if being in a towel is a little intimidating to you, don't let that stop you, we're sure you can come up with a creative way to use it. We have plenty of towels too, your more than welcome to use them, just remember though the ones at the club aren't very big so if you want a bigger one you'll have to bring one from home.

Then the fun doesn't stop there, we're also going to give you a dot to hide, where you ask? Well somewhere on you, where on you....we'll let you decide, but you have to let someone other than your spouse search for it and when that person finds it, you must reveal something about yourself to them. Now for the shy people, get creative with your dot, feel free to use the words hot and cold when someone is close or far away, you can also tell them that's it's located where skin is already revealed, but what ever you do just don't give away that exact location.

Then one final contest that night, and this one is sure to cool you off if finding those dots got your all hot. We're going to give everyone at the same time a frozen, yep that says frozen T-shirt and we're going to have a race to see who can get theirs on the fastest....we'll leave the ideas for getting each other warmed back up up to you. So come join us for what should be a very cool hot night.

Body Painting

Friday night we had a pretty quiet party. Nice but quiet, so it was relaxing.

Saturday night we had a bit smaller party than we're used to but we all had a great time. Some people got very creative with the body paints. We had a massage therapist in the house who helped everyone work out their aches and pains. We did a door prize....congrats T & M we hope you enjoy that glass toy. She was very excited to win. Dave got the dance floor going with some classic rock. We celebrated a very special persons birthday even if she's mad at me for getting her pulled out on the dance floor so we can sing to her. Happy Birthday J !!!!!!!

We had 2 new ladies in the house, welcome to you both, we hope you had an excellent time. Haven't seen S in the house for awhile J & H have been there, but you haven't, so welcome back to you!

The staff spent quite a bit of time during the day on Saturday and Sunday braing storming ideas for you all. We admit we've been sort of laxed with the games and things along those lines, but we worked very hard over the weekend to make sure you all will have an aswesome time the whole month of August. Actually the whole rest of the year.

Newly Wed Game

Friday night we had a really nice party. We had a new couple join us J & T , so welcome to you. We hope you come back and see us really soon. We had another new couple who came in just for a tour and joined us for Saturday nights party as well, so welcome to K & D, hope you both had a good time.

Saturday we had our pot luck BBQ, that was just an awesome time, what great food everyone. R the ladies swear they will get that baked beans recipe out of you eventually. You all did such a great job and we had so much fun, we're going to do one party a month that starts at 5 just so we can spend more time together like that. Our next one is August 11th for Hooker Night.

We had a few other new couples join us as well, so welcome to you too. We hope you had an excellent time.

Now we all know the Newly Wed game took us way too long to get through, so we promise to make some modifications to it before doing it again. I want to thank all of you for your patience and understanding and just being good sports about it. I know even though it went long, we all had a whole lot of laughs out of it, and learned a few things about one another we may not have wanted to know, but it was all in fun. We'll maybe except for the goat thing......but we'll just try and forget about that.

It was really great to have 100% participation, and I hope that continues with all the games and themes. In a tie for second place we had our newbies K & D and long time members of TMP J & C, congrats to all of you.

Next Saturday we will be decorating each other with paints, this is another first for us, and we know some of you are really shy, but you can always be a painter or have a body part painted that's not so daring. We're just gonna have some messy fun with it and hope it gets everyone going and laughing. Maybe we'll even vote to see who does the best art work. So come on out and join us, don't let the paints scare you, you never have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. You can just watch if you prefer.

Last Saturday we had our Country Western night, I will say as far as dress up themes go this was probably our best participation from all of you. It was so nice to see so many people participate in the theme. I don't know about all of the country music though, that got mixed reviews, although Dave did manage to give us some music to dance to as well. It was a great party though.

I hope all of you that attended had fun, I know we saw a lot of faces we haven't seen in a long time, so it was nice to see you come back. That seems to be a trend with a lot of the members who haven't been in a year or 2 coming back, so we hope to see more of you.

Don't forget this coming Saturday is not only the newly wed game but also the pot luck BBQ. So we're starting the party at 5:00 instead of 8. If you were there for the last Newly wed game, we are changing this one a bit and making it more like a game show and hopefully a lot more fun. So plan on joining us. If you bring a dish to share you get $5 off at the door. It would be great though if you could let us know ahead of time what you were bringing so we don't end up with a bunch of the same ones. Beach Party and 7 Surprises

Friday's party was pretty good. We had a new couple come out and join the other 5 couples that were there, so welcome to you. I think everyone had a pretty good time. 3 of those couples stuck around and joined us for Saturday night as well.

Saturday's Beach Party theme brought out a few swim suits, some colorful wraps, and even a few more revealing beach cover-ups. We had some surprises ready for our guests too, see not everything we plan do we reveal ahead of time. Because the date was 7-7-07 we decided to make it a lucky 7 night. Our 7th couple in the door was refunded 1/2 of their entry fee. We also took 7 number 7's and hid them upstairs, these all had prizes on them. We then sent all of our couples upstairs to find them. All 7 were actually found and prizes ranged from toys to money off door fees. So we hope you all that attended liked our little surprises for you.

We will keep coming up with new ideas to keep things fresh and moving forward. The rest of the night went great...the dance floor was packed for quite awhile and everyone just really seemed to have a good time, and by the amount of mess we cleaned up this morning upstairs I would say everyone up there had a great time.

I'd like to welcome our 3 new couples as well as our single gentleman who came on Saturday night, I know a few of you already told us what a good time you had, but I really hope you all had a great time and will come back again soon.

Next week is country western night. Don't forget also to send me what your bringing to the pot luck on the 21st, so we can keep a list going and don't get a bunch of doubles.

Happy Independence Day to Everyone! I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

I apologize for this missing a week, we had no internet access last week due to a cable modem malfunction, everything is now back in working order and we're playing a bit of catch up.

A lot to talk about today so I'll just jump right to it. For those of you who have been out to the club over the last few weeks and we're disappointed about the hot tub being down. It's officially back in working condition and better than ever. We had a pump that failed and since we had to take it out of service for that repair anyway we decided this was a good time to not only give it one heck of a cleaning but also repair a crack in the bottom. We made some minor improvements to the room as well, and some even bigger ones are taking place this week. So it is back and better than ever thanks to Larry and Lisa and all their hard work.

I would also like to take a moment and talk about the new floor for the dance floor/meeting area and how that's coming. We have at this point almost reached our goal. With a donation of part of the flooring coming from a couple that was at the club over this past weekend and all of you participating in the raffles, we have just about reached the point of going shopping for the rest of the materials needed. We want to thank all of you for helping make this a reality, and once it's all done and finished hope you all enjoy it. We will continue the raffles on Saturday's too, there are other things we can purchase to make improvements to the club that simply don't fit in the normal budget, and everyone really seems to have a good time with them. So once we've completed this project keep watching for the next thing to come up.

So ok now onto the parties. Naughty School girl night was a hit as always. This is always one of the themes we get the most participation for. Which I guess is a good thing since the guys really seem to like that costume. We had a decent sized crowd and even a few new couples that joined us. So welcome to you, we hope you come back soon.

This past weekend. Friday was a nice party, we had 6 couples, one of which was newer, and we all had a nice time. Saturday's party was just an awesome time. We had the huge pork roasts out on the grill cooking all day, everyone was starved by dinner time just smelling that food cooking all day. Lisa did a great job with the grill. We once again did the fried veggies too, those were a big hit as well as everything else we made to go along with it. Celes even got into it and made us her black eyed peas and corn bread. There was so much food, it was just awesome.

We had a great turn out too for dinner and after everyone had their fill of food, many of them decided to work it off in a game of topless volleyball out in the back yard. We had one of the new couples come in just as the game was getting started. While I thought they might be a little shy about the topless volleyball, after their tour they just jumped right in there and had a good time.
We had one new single gentlemen who came out for the party, welcome to you. We had 3 new couples, welcome to the 6 of you as well, and then we had 3 new people as well who we're half of a couple who had been there before, so welcome to you as well. We hope all of the new people enjoyed themselves and will come back soon.

Once the sun set and the temperature dropped a little outside, people started heading indoors for the party. We played a game of assumed identities, which by the way, I have never heard so many bad impressions of famous people in my life......lol. The game was good for some laughs, and Sunday morning I could still hear some of you trying to figure out who some people were Saturday night. The game really got people up and talking and the activity upstairs showed this crowd really meshed well together and got to know each other pretty well. We hear those of you up in the orgy room had a really good time.

So thank you to everyone that helped out this weekend, I think everyone's really enjoying these longer summer parties. It does give people a longer time to get to know one another and just spend some time enjoying themselves. They may be a bit more work, but in the long run we think it's worth it.

So did you miss this one? Well we're sorry you missed it, but we do have another one planned and we're going to do this one a bit different. So.......the date July 21st, the party will start at 5:00 p.m. , your welcome to come a bit early too. The club will provide the Burgers and Dogs and we're asking all of you to bring a dish to share. Everyone that brings a dish to share will get $5 off at the door, this makes things a little easier on the staff as well as everyone maybe getting to try something new. We did a potluck for Christmas last year and it was just the nicest party, so we figure why not give it a shot with a BBQ. If you plan on attending so we don't get too many of the same dish let us know what you'll be bringing, send an e-mail to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com and tell us your name and what your bringing. I will post a list on the website homepage for everyone to see and then even the last minute people can look and see what's already taken. So I guess that's it for now. We're doing the beach party this coming weekend, the club will take on a tropical flair and we'll have some fun in the sun hopefully.

BBQ Weekend

Happy Belated Father's Day to all the dads!

Friday night was another smaller party, nice group though. We arrived pretty late so I can't really give you a great description of the party, sorry.

Saturday was a blast, we had a nice group show up early for the BBQ, Dave did a great job with the grill and the rest of the food was really good too. L you make an awesome potato salad. Thanks M & B for helping out, as well as anyone else I might have missed that helped. I also want to thank everyone who got Dave wet with the water balloons, that gave me a chuckle, although I know he got a few of you back....lol. Poor Phyllis' balloon didn't break on him I know she was quite disappointed when she tried to get him in the shower with the semi frozen balloon.

The party Saturday night was pretty cool too. We had a few new couples, I'd like to welcome you all to the club, it was out of town week as well, we had a couple from Florida, they're long time club members, they manage to make it up a few times a year. We had a couple from Pennsylvania that also makes it up a couple times a year and a new couple from Iowa, we were so glad to see all of you and hope you had a great time.

We know the group that played out in the yard for a better portion of the night did. They played with the bean bags for a while, and listened to some music, as well as dragging the twister game out there later in the evening. They played their own version of strip twister, well at least the girls did, the guys kind of chickened out.

Join us next week for Naughty School Girl night, this theme is always a favorite and it should be an awesome party.

Horny Hospital

Friday night we had 4 couples, a smaller party but a nice group of people. One of them was a new couple, so welcome to you, we hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Saturday night was another just awesome party. What a great group of people. We had one new couple, join us then as well, and I'm pretty sure they had a good time. One of the new couples from last weekend and the new couple this weekend, just jumped right in there and you would have never known they were new. It's always so nice to see, thank you to all of you regulars who made them feel so welcome and comfortable.

The Horny Hospital theme, wasn't our best theme, but we still has some people who dressed the part. I think CJ probably had the best nurses outfit and I'm sure many of the guys agree, she was a very sexy nurse. Although where doctors equipment was concerned, I'm sure most of the ladies were most interested in B's stethoscope, you would have had to see it to believe it. Not sure where he found it, but I'm sure it can't be found where all the other doctors get theirs.

Dave kept the dance floor full most of the night, Phyllis even came down for her favorite dance tune White Horse. Then we did a snowball dance which got everyone out of their seats, this was Phyllis' idea, so if you enjoyed getting to dance with someone new, let her know it was a good one. Of course our favorite audience participation songs were a hit as usual too.

There was a party out on the deck as well we heard, I know they got a fire going and I did see people out there here and there, but we heard you all had a good time out there.

This was just a really great group of people, as I watched through the night, everyone just mixed and mingled and disappeared upstairs throughout the night. With the increase in party size lately, we know things have been a whole lot more fun for everyone, and we will continue to keep posting our events and bringing even more people out for the parties. All of our members can help too, just tell other people about the club and point them to our website, or go and leave reviews for the club on other sites, let people know what you think about the club and all of the changes that have gone on. There's a whole list of places where we have club reviews listed on our home page. The link to the homepage is there on the right.

Join us next week for a Bring Your Own Meat BBQ, you bring what ever you want to throw on the grill and we'll be providing the salads and sides to go with it. As long as the weather cooperates we will have games outside as well as the music. So plan on joining us early, 3:00, and come out and meet some really great people and spend the day getting to know everyone. Then as evening rolls in, we'll have our normal party like usual, Dave will be back DJing and getting everyone out on the dance floor.

Truth or Dare

Friday night since it was just so beautiful outside we lit a fire and spent the night listening to music on the deck. We had a new couple join us as well as a couple that hadn't been there for awhile. So welcome to you all. It was a nice quiet evening just sitting around talking.

Saturday night we played Truth or Dare, our new couple from Friday night came back and joined us for the fun as well as a new couple all the way from the Detroit area, welcome to you as well. We hope you all had fun playing truth or dare, even those of you that were shier than most and ran and hid in the back or even worse behind the mirror upstairs....yep you know who you are. Our new couple did such an excellent job, both taking the harder dares, I just want to tell you both way to go. For those of you who at least came up and did a truth, thank you for at least participating, the games are supposed to be fun not intimidating, and help everyone get acquainted. So don't let them scare you too bad, you can choose a truth and just answer a simple question. Even our DJ did that.....lol, sorry Dave got to pick on you a bit, I'm supposed to be the shy one. I have to say though when L came out and did a truth we were all pretty impressed, I don't think he's ever participated in a game, guess we're waring him down....lol. Even if he did pick me to go next.....that's ok L, I'll get you back eventually.....lol.

It was nice to see our own CJ come back for a party as well, you were very missed.

Next weekend is our Horny Hospital dress up theme, so all of you naughty nurses and dirty doctors come out to play.

Memorial Day Weekend

Sorry everyone that there was no post last week for the Wet T-shirt contest. I was at the club all week doing prep for this weekends party. I didn't realize how many of you read this until some of your told me your we're disappointed not to see a post last week.

So a quick note about the Wet T's , we had lots of ladies and even 2 of the guys participate in the contest. It was a ball. The guys were a riot and 1 of them almost won, we had some very excited ladies that can make a lot of noise. A was our winner though, and she did a great job making it through 3 rounds of voting. All of the ladies did an excellent job, although I was partial to watching the guys, Dave wasn't too happy watching from the DJ booth. Thanks to the Birthday boy for pouring the water for us, we know you enjoyed it too though R.

Ok so onto this weekend. Wow what an awesome time. I hear Friday and the better part of the day on Saturday they just all had a ball, playing cards and games and eating lots of great food.
Saturday night we just had a great crowd of people, everyone just seemed to mesh really well, ate lots of food and had lots of laughs. We named the mascot, danced to some great music and just met some awesome people. I hear upstairs was pretty good too. Sunday we all just chilled out in the backyard all day and enjoyed the beautiful weather, grilled up some great food, played some games and listened to some music. Later in the evening Jeff broke out the Karoake and a few people even got up to sing.

So there are a lot of thank yous to go around for this weekend. First and foremost, thanks to all of you that came out and just had a good time despite the bad weather. I think the only thing that could have made the weekend better was good weather on Saturday too, but it can't always be perfect. Thank you to everyone who brought or made food over the weekend, sometimes that's a really big job and having all the help was awesome. I and Phyllis want to give special thanks to Laurie for making the Salads, and Lisa for spending all that time behind the grill. The food was probably some of the best we've had there. To D, thanks for all the cleaning you did during the day on Sunday, you'll never know how much we appreciate it. To anyone and everyone else who helped pick up, clean up, and everything in between it is truly appreciated.

To anyone who missed the party, you missed a great time, and I think the food and atmosphere were some of the best parts, I know Sunday we all ate so much we needed naps. The steaks, chicken, ribs, french fries, and fried veggies were just so awesome. I know many of the guys who got to try out their hands at that grill now want one, that deep fryer was just so cool.

I know I missed some people that I should have thanked, so if I missed you, I apologize, but I myself and still trying to recoup from the weekend, so I will close this for now. Don't forget truth or dare is next weekend and Hugo will be joining us to do tattoos and piercings. I know many of you that were with us this weekend plan on coming back for Truth or Dare so it should be absolutely awesome. Oh and one other change, the party on the 16th, where you brings your own meat to throw on the grill, we are changing the party start time to 3:00, we all just had so much fun outside all day yesterday, we want to spend even more time enjoying all that deck and grilling out, so plan on joining us early that day.

Pole Dance Competition

Well Kristina never made it in to post about last weekends party, so I will just give you a brief bit on it. We had one heck of a crowd, and the pinata was a blast. I don't think there were too many empty chairs in the house and everyone just had an awesome time.

This past Friday we had 2 new couples, welcome to all of you. The party was small but still nice. We hope everyone had a good time.

Saturday was just another awesome party. It started out slow, a lot of people were out enjoying that beautiful weather we had. Once the sun went down though everyone came in and we just had a ball. The pole Dance competition took a little coaxing to get people started but once they got going we had a ball. We had 4 men and I believe 7 ladies compete, by applause C was our overall winner, but we thought the guys were just such great sports and we're really brave about getting out there we let everyone decide on a winner just for the men. So we had 2 winners C and M, M is the male 1/2 of one of our newer couples, he also won the sexy buns contest a few weeks back. Both of our winners got themselves a free party. We also gave out participation prizes too all of our contestants. So congrats to everyone that was brave enough to get up there and show us your sexy sides.

I'd like to welcome our 3 new couples from Saturday night as well, we hope all of you also had a great time and will come back and see us soon.

Just a few other things, next Saturday is our wet t-shirt contest, this is always a big hit and I'm sure this one will be no different. So come on our, we'll even give you the shirts and let you cut them up however you like.

The last Day we will accept reservations for Memorial Day weekend will be May 19th, you can either e-mail your reservations to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com or sign up at the party on the bulletin board. Making a reservation for the whole weekend gives you a discount price. See the events page of the website for all the details. This year compared to years past, we will have activities going on all Day and night long. We already have the decks outside ready to be used, we'll have food on the grill and it should just be a great time.

Cinco De Mayo Weekend

I know Kristina said she wanted to post this week about Saturday's party and I'm going to let her do that. I just wanted to get in a quick post about Friday and maybe a little more. Friday we had an excellent party. We had a new single lady join us, and I think she had a really good time. I hope we all answered all of your questions.

I think we had 8 couples and 2 singles join us for Friday's party. We all sat and talked and just got to know one another better. We heard the group in the back of the room just laughing and having a good time. A couple of couples played some cards and before we knew it everyone was upstairs having a good time, well at least I hope they had a good time. LOL

A couple of Friday night's couples joined us again Saturday night, and Saturday the party was just so awesome. I will let Kristina fill you in on the details but I just want to welcome all of the new people that joined us, we hope you had an excellent time, I know I enjoyed meeting and talking with all of you. If I missed you I apologize, there were so many new couples I know I missed a few, I hope that was because you were off having fun and I just didn't see you in the meeting area.

We have some great events coming up for the rest of the month so check the calendar and pick your favorites. Don't forget if your planning on joining us for Memorial Day weekend to get your reservations in now, this is looking like it may be our biggest party of the year thus far, bigger than New Year's, so reserve your spots before May 18th to get the discount of the whole weekend. Sorry we do not offer discounts for individual night reservations, they are still welcome however, it does help us in planning for food and just having an idea of how many we will have for the night. If you didn't make a reservation though please feel free to just show up if you are a couple or single female, we always make sure we have lots of extra to go around. Single Males you need to make a reservation or there will be no space by the time the weekend comes along.

Sexy Pictionary Weekend

Friday night we had a nice party, I think we had 9 couples, and a couple of those we new, so welcome to the club. Friday's have sort of become the night to come in, really get to know people, maybe play a game of cards, or some dice and just kind of relax and have a good time. That's just what everyone did.

Saturday night we all had a blast with pictionary. We played until we ran out of phrases, and everyone had a good time. Instead of numbers for teams this time we had a picture on everyone's name tags and we're happy to report the aliens won. The other three teams did a good job too, the aliens are just a bit kinkier than the rest.....lol.

After the game Dave got the crowd up dancing and just everyone had a great time. He was having so much fun watching everyone on the dance floor he stayed DJing way past his time and the party just kept going.

We had a new couple Saturday night, welcome to you, as well as a bunch of faces we haven't seen in a while. It's so nice to see so many of the older club members returning after some time away, we hope you keep coming back now to visit more often.

I personally want to say thank you to everyone for the compliments on the changes to the club, the feedback really helps keep us motivated to keep going forward with everything, and knowing you are all really liking it makes it that much easier for all the staff members to do so. We have some smaller projects in the works (right now it's getting everything outside ready for Memorial Day Weekend), and if you've been to the club in the past few months you all know we have been working hard to raise the money to replace the dance floor, and with all of your help we are getting there. We appreciate all of you participating in the raffles and hope you continue to enjoy them, and to those of you who came right out and made a donation, thank you so much it's greatly appreciated. Phyllis and the staff will continue working hard to make TMP the best on premise club around for everyone.

I do have one last subject to touch on, the staff realizes, especially with new couples, that sometimes having a drink or 2 calms your nerves, and we don't have a problem with a drink or 2. When drinking becomes excessive though it usually turns into problems. The club is BYOB, so we really can't control the alcohol consumption, that is up to you, but we will ask people who seem to have a problem with the excessive drinking to find another place to do so at in the future. If you find you need to drink to excess just to be there, or to play, then maybe this lifestyle just isn't right for you. There's nothing worse than going up to play with someone who suddenly gets sick because they've had too much to drink. The staff doesn't appreciate having to clean it up and it generally upsets the play partners. There have also been a lot of accidents downstairs due to someone whose drunk and knocking over tables or drinks, we don't want to see anything get broken or anyone hurt because someone felt so uncomfortable at a party they needed to be drunk to be there. So please control the amount of alcohol you and/or your partner consume, or you may find we are asking you to go sleep it off and then telling you not to come back. It's not fair to the staff or the couples around you who have to put up with drunken behavior, and it will not be tolerated.

Human Bingo/ Sexy Legs & Hot Buns

Human Bingo was a riot, and went over really well. We were surprised to see just how quickly people could get a Bingo. We had a nice sized crowd and pretty diverse as well which made finding matches for everyone's cards not too hard. We also decided since this game could be done fairly quickly instead of it being a theme again we will be putting it into our quick ice breaker games. The great thing about this was it got the crowd up and mingling and after it was over everyone just kept mingling all night long. We had a couple of new couples that night as well( welcome to you all) and they seemed to jump right in on the fun, and we hope the game made it easier for you to find people to talk with.

This past Friday we also had 1 new couple join us, welcome to you. It was another decent sized party for a Friday and although I went to bed early I heard everyone had a really good time. Saturday night brought us 2 more new couples as well as a new single lady and a new single guy. We love when new people come in and our completely nervous and then by the end of the night just totally let loose and just have a great time. These new people did exactly that. We did the guys sexy wet buns contest first, we had 6 brave guys participate, including one of the new guys. M was really a great sport, not only did he get up there and participate but he also volunteered to go first. I guess being new and going first paid off because when it was all over he was crowned our winner and he and his lovely wife T got themselves a 1/2 price party certificate. We gave all of our guys a $5 off certificate for just being brave enough to get up there in the pool and get the ice water treatment over their buns.

The we moved on to the ladies and their sexy legs, I believe there we also had 6 contestants, sorry I was back up at the door through most of this one. R was our winner there and won her and her hubby a 1/2 price party.

This was really a great crowd, and the average party size just keeps increasing. The dance floor was packed most of the night. We had about 10 couples doing body shots at one point in the night (again the newbies were suckered in). I also heard of a large group having fun up in the twister room. In the morning as everyone was leaving a few of our newbies commented they didn't realize how much fun this could be.

I spoke with the one new single lady for awhile, she actually came with a new couple. She said her fears were basically when you walked in it was just one big orgy, she was glad to see a more normal bar setting and her fears were quickly put to rest. For anyone who thinks this way about clubs, I know I did, our club really is much like a bar where the meeting area is. You may see a little less clothing than in a bar, but for the most part it's a dance floor and tables and chairs and people mainly spend some time getting to know one another. Up stairs may be a different story, but if you just want to come down and hang out and just get to know some people, that's perfectly ok to do so. No one ever has to do anything they are uncomfortable with, and everyone comes there for a different reason and has different rules and guidelines about how, where and with whom they play. What ever works for you is fine.

Leather & Lace/Pretty Panties & Silly Boxers

Sorry Everyone....didn't get a post in last week, things have been kind of crazy with everything going on.

Our Anniversary Party/Leather & Lace night was just an awesome party, the biggest since New Years with a full house. It was great to see so many of the older club members come in as well as the 6 new couples through the weekend. Friday although I missed the party personally, I was told there were 10 couples and they just had a blast. 1 New couple joined them Friday night.

Saturday we had the other 5 new couples as well as a lot of faces we hadn't seen in awhile. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful compliments on the changes at the club. The staff really appreciates hearing that we're doing things right.

We managed to get Phyllis down on the dance floor, she even got on the mic and got everyone to come out and dance with her to her favorite song "White Horse" . She wants to thanks everyone for coming not only to that party but to every party. She just loves when people come out and have a good time.

Our Pretty panties and Silly Boxers weekend proved to be a lot of fun. Friday was a good group too, we played some dice and just kicked back and relaxed.

Saturday we had 2 new couples join us. J & J came back after a long time away and J provided us with some great Karoake and blues music. He and Dave spilt up the time Djing so we could still get out and dance, mixing it up really well with the Karoake. We did a quick get acquainted game of Mad Libs, we managed to find an adult version of the books. Everyone really seemed to enjoy that and it was great because we split up all the couples, so each one got to sit with and meet a new group of people. This worked so well because then everyone knew 2/3 of everyone there and people just mixed and mingled all night long.

We also had an Easter Egg hunt and we threw a few prizes in some eggs, we hope you all enjoyed that. Sometimes it's just fun to play like kids again. We did one more little game too, we had balloons hanging from the ceiling and inside 5 of them there was a star, each person who found the star won a little prize. On top of all of that we still did the raffle, which everyone really seems to be enjoying. We also had 2 birthday boys in the house, J and J, a lot of J names at this party I am realizing, but we hope you both enjoyed your birthday's and the dances the ladies gave you.

Now after all of that took place and everyone was done with the Karoake and dancing, we all still found time to go up and play. For me personally this was an awesome night. I don't know if it was just because so many people there got to know one another or what, but having everyone up in the Twister room all at once just having a good time was just so much fun. In my personal opinion, this was probably one of the most fun times I have had at a party in a while. Being on staff means I don't always get in a lot of time to play, and I'm not complaining, but this crowd really just seemed to mesh well together, and we didn't have a whole lot to worry about and the entire staff got to relax a bit more and just enjoy.

We will be trying to do more get acquainted games when there is just a dress up theme. These really seem to get people up and moving and not just sitting at the same old table all the time. Everyone really takes the time to get to know one another when we get them started, especially when it's just something quick and fun.

This coming Saturday we will be playing Human Bingo, it will be sort of a scavenger hunt to find the people that match the descriptions on your bingo card. Some are simply like an age group and some are more specific, like someone wearing a green shirt. You'll have to find enough people to give you a bingo and get them to sign your card. Our hope is this will really get people talking and get everyone involved. We'll start the game at 10:00, so plan on arriving before then and just have a great time with it. Don't forget to start making your reservations for Memorial Day Weekend, and start bringing in those pictures of you when you were under 5 for a little game that weekend. We've had so many new members(over 50) join the club over the past few months, I just want to take a moment here to welcome all of you. Phyllis and the TMP staff hope that your time at the club was enjoyable, if there is something we can do to help make your experience more enjoyable please let us know. We are always open to new suggestions, games, and ideas. This is your club and the parties can only be as much fun as your willing to make them.

Gigolo Night was a Huge Success

What a riot we had on Gigolo night. I have never seen so many men with absolutely no ability to lap dance in my life!!! I don't think the women were as cruel to the men this time in what they had them do for the money but we did make those boys work for it! Congrats to R for his close win over the 2nd place J and 3rd place L. And a special thanks to all the guys who participated. We look forward to purchasing your services again in the near future.

This coming week is Leather and Lace night as we celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Meeting Place. Dress in your sexiest lace or hottest leather. Come and join us for some fun and partying as we wish our Hostess, Phyllis, many more years of success at the Meeting Place

On a more personal note: I would like to thank all the staff at the Meeting Place, especially T and D, and all my friends there for making this the most wonderful birthday party ever. What CJ forgot to post about Gigolo Night this coming Saturday is that it is also her birthday(well Friday's her Birthday but we're celebrating at the club on Saturday night)....so she will have a few extra bucks to spend on you guys. We will be doing things a little differently this time around, all the females that come in the door before 9:45 will be given pay money to spend on the guys, we will end the game at 10:30 leaving more play time afterwards. SO if you want to play the game come early or you may miss your chance.

St. Patty's Day

Saturday at the club was a little quiet for a holiday - no green leprechauns, no green beer, no lucky charms - but a great bunch of people were present. We had a lot of new couples this week which was exciting. The mixer game - Mad Libs - with a sexual undertone - was great fun. We got to see what peoples' minds were thinking about!!!! The resulting stories were very interesting! Even though it was a quiet night , everyone had great conversations with good friends.
The dance floor was a little empty but I am sure that we will get that moving again this coming week. Keep up the good tunes, DJ, we love them!!!
We are looking forward to this coming week - Gigolo night!!!! - and we will have our revenge for Hooker night!!! We hope that there will be a lot of people there - both men and women - to make this night a great time.

St. Pat's weekend

We had a nice quiet Friday night, some good conversations and fun. We had one new couple join us, so welcome to them, we hope you come back and see us again really soon.

Saturday party was also a lot of fun. Some old faces we haven't seen in awhile returned to party. There were also 5 new couples for Saturday night as well, welcome to all of you, we hope you had a blast and will be coming back soon too. I did notice some of you got the twister game going upstairs.....good for you, we hope you all have fun with it. The hot tub seemed to be really popular as well. We did a quick get acquainted game of mixing people up with people they didn't know and having them do a mad lib together. Those came out pretty funny, I'm so glad everyone, and I do mean everyone participated. Thank you to the 3 brave people who came up and read your funny stories, you did a great job. I thought that went pretty well as a get acquainted game, I know there were some bugs in it, because the one table ended up with twice as many people, but I have already figured out how to fix that, so other than that, what did you all think? Do you like the quick games like that to get people talking? We really appreciate the feedback on this stuff, it helps us to know what you all want when it comes to a party. I will say it was really nice walking downstairs and seeing only 3 tables with all those people around them, and everyone was talking.

A few reminders, The name the mascot contest is still going on, there is an entry form on the home page for the website, you can click the links to the left to get there. We will vote on the winning name over Memorial Day Weekend. We are also taking reservations for Memorial Day Weekend. You can find all the pricing and event information on the upcoming events page. In the past everyone has kind of gone their own way during the day, we wanted to give you some other options to spend time together at the club, so we have some games and foods and things planned for the whole weekend that should keep everyone busy. So check it out on the events page.

We are still doing Saturday night raffles, the money from the raffles will go to putting in a new hardwood floor at the club, we are about a 1/3 of our way to our goal, and we appreciate all of the generosity everyone has given over these past few weeks. We will continue with the raffles throughout the summer months. So look for one of the ladies selling tickets while you are there on Saturday night.

Next Saturday we will be having Gigolo Night, we also have a very special Lady who will be celebrating her birthday as well. She helps write the blog here and is one of the regulars at the club. We will be giving her some extra play money to make her night even more special, we hope you will all wish her a happy birthday and come out and celebrate.

The following Saturday is TMP's 21st Anniversary, Phyllis has been throwing the best parties in Michigan for the past 21 years and we would like to wish her 21 more wonderful years. The theme this night will also be leather and lace, so join us for a fun evening and let's celebrate TMP's success.

Hooker Night.....Great as Always

Friday we had a really nice party, although the regulars got a little loopy with the squishy balls, I think everyone had a good time. We sure laughed a lot, K you still need to pay the boys back for teaming up against you. We have also banned B from any kind of water for good, except for the shower and hot tub. For all of you that missed it, sorry you'll just have to keep wondering....lol.

Saturday nights party was just awesome, all of the ladies did a great job dressing the part, even if some of the men were a little stingy with their duckets. That's ok boys it's your turn in 2 weeks, I'm sure the ladies will remember some of you. It was all in fun though and we were glad to see so many ladies participating. A few of the men even got into dressing up to be the pimps and it was really great to see everyone have so much fun with it. We gave out prizes to our top 3 earners of the play money. P was 1st with $16,500, 2nd went to S with $16,300 and 3rd place went to C with $7,800, congrats to all the winners. The men were all given $2,000 in play money coming in the door, and some even got a chance to get some extra too, it was a lot of fun just watching everyone try and get their money away from them. Thanks to everyone who participated, we hope you all had fun.

Beach Party

Sorry everyone I've had a very busy week and I'm just getting around to posting about last weeks party. Friday we had another decent size crowd and it was a nice quiet relaxing night.

Saturday's party was packed and everyone just looked so awesome in their beach attire. The weather outside was freezing but we were all nice and warm inside. Dave kept the dance floor jumpin, and Hugo came in and did Tattoos and Piercings, and he did a great job. Everyone was very please with his work. Anytime you want to come back Hugo you just let us know, we'd be happy to have you. We took a few pictures of the tattoos Hugo did and I will be creating a page for him on the website very soon, so everyone can see his work. Everyone I talked to was very pleased and said his prices were reasonable, so next time he's coming out we will make sure to promote it more and hopefully those of you interested will be able to attend.

L helped out selling the raffle tickets, you did an awesome job thank you. F, who hasn't been to the club in a while helped draw out our 3 prize winners from the raffle tickets, thank you to you as well. Thank you to all of you that made Laurie feel special for her birthday, we all know she had an awesome time. Thank you to Laurie for bringing in all that food too. To everyone else that helped out in anyway that I forgot to mention here, thank you to you as well.

This Saturday, tomorrow night is Hooker Night, this party is going to totally rock. We already have a bunch of reservations, which are not required. For those of you who maybe aren't on some of the other swingers sites, TMP is on a whole bunch and many of those who have places for us to list our events also let people say if they are coming. So we have some on SLS, more on Swing Towns, and a few on a couple of other sites, that doesn't include the regulars or people who would just show up anyway. It's looking like we might have one heck of a huge party this weekend and why not, the weather is supposed to be beautiful, and everyone loves hooker night. So if you were only thinking about coming, why not make it a definite and join us for what should be one of our best and last parties of Winter.

The next 2 weekends after that look like awesome parties too, we are already getting reservations for both of those. St. Pat's which is always one of the best parties of the year, and this year it just so happens it falls on the actual day. The following week after that is Gigolo night, which is the ladies turn to spend that play money on the guys! We had such a blast with our last Gigolo night, we can hardly wait for this one.

Fact and Fiction

There have been a lot of rumors flying around lately regarding The Meeting Place, and the majority are just that rumors. We hear all sorts of things from people coming in the door at the club, in chat and in the Yahoo group and I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know what the truths are.

These are the facts despite what you may have heard:

1.The Meeting Place is not closing, we've been around almost 21 years now and there are no plans of the club going anywhere.

2. Phyllis is still the owner of the club, she is not sick, not dying and hasn't gone anywhere, except for the occasional time she spends away for her family and even then we still have parties every Friday and Saturday night, we have staff that fills in where necessary.

3. Andy, Mary and Dale are no longer affiliated with The Meeting Place in any way.

4. The rest of The Meeting Place staff are still hard at work to make your experience at TMP a great one. The TMP staff members are Celes, Diane, Dennis, Laurie, Dave and myself. We have 2 host couples as well that help out by giving tours and welcoming our new members.

5. There are no diseases running rampant at TMP, if there was someone there we knew about with any kind of disease we would ask them to please not return for the safety of all our guests.

6. The Meeting Place does have a new website meetingplacemichigan.com, and a new e-mail address info@meetingplacemichigan.com.

7. There have been a lot of positive changes at the club, new carpeting downstairs, revamp of the long room which is now the Twister room, a DJ every Saturday night, and a new DJ booth, a lot more improvements have been made in the past year and we will continue to make them.

So that's the facts, if there are questions regarding anything they can be directed to the e-mail address above. We will do our best to answer any of your questions or concerns in a timely manner.

New Website for Us

The blog site will still remain our source for club news, and we hope that those of you helping writing it will continue, but The Meeting Place now has a new official site: http://meetingplacemichigan.com . This will be our new permanent home on the web. It is a work in progress still and much of the information there can be found here, but I will be removing a lot of the extras from here and leave the blog as it was originally intended, as our online newsletter. Eventually once we get enough people switched over to the new site, and all the links are in order, the blog will become a totally private site for club members only. Then all club members will have access to even more inside club information, and will be able to write stories and articles as well themselves, as well as post profiles and pictures. That's a few months off yet, but we're working on it. So for now take a look at the new site, and book mark it's location. Let us know what you think too, we've been getting a lot of feedback from our club members, and we've been listening when it's something within our power to improve, you can see the results at the club as well as on the web. So if you have something in mind, let us know.

Sports Night

We had 2 really good parties this weekend. Friday it was a really nice crowd and we all laughed a lot. Nice to see some more of the regular Saturday crowd come out on a Friday.

Saturday we had our Sports Night theme, we had lots of people take part in dressing up and supporting their favorite team. It was also the first night for our Twister room, it was a big hit. If you haven't seen it yet you'll have to come check it out. We heard lots of great comments, and I know some of you really enjoyed the new room layout, more bouncing room. The DJ booth is also getting a makeover, they got quite a bit of that done on Saturday and should have that whole area finished with in a few weeks. The dance pole is now more accessible and the dance floor a little larger.

Welcome to our new couples, we hope you had a really awesome time and come back and see us really soon.

We are starting to take reservations for Memorial Day weekend. The cost for the whole weekend will be $130 for couples and single gentlemen with a reservation. Single Ladies are $30 for the whole weekend with a reservation. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday as well as breakfast on Monday and all of our scheduled events. We have a whole list of activities for the weekend, we will be playing Volleyball, Horse Shoes, and Bean Bag Toss out in the yard, as well as catching some rays on the decks. We'll have a Texas Hold Em' Tournament and some fun with water too. We are asking everyone to also bring along a picture of themselves before age 5 for a guess who we were contest. There are also assorted games and other activities that will be available too. We will have a BBQ on Saturday night, and a Taco Bar on Sunday night. Without a reservation couples and single gentlemen prices for individual nights are as follows: Friday $35, Saturday $70, and Sunday $50, single ladies Friday $10, Saturday $15, and Sunday $15 remember this includes your meals as well. To make a reservation, use the button to the right or sign up on the Bulletin Board when your at the club. So plan on making a weekend of it, relax, have some fun, and just enjoy a weekend away from home.

Don't forget we have a scheduled chat twice a week now, so come join us on Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 8:00 EST for TMP chat, who knows you just might meet someone new. Mardi Gras What a night! The ladies had a good time earning there beads and the men had an even better time giving them out. Lots of Newbies they where a lot of fun and all said they had fun and would definately be returning. The party was big! I think we are averaging at least 3-4 New couples per week and it has to be because we are the best club! The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT LONG! Thank you to our DJ! The staff was great and everyone had a really good time. We even got matched with people so that everyone could meet up with someone else and get to know someone new. The club is definately growing and lot's of changes have happened and are continuing to happen so come check us out you won't be dissapointed.

Our Mardi Gras Party was a big hit. We had an excellent party Saturday night, not a seat left in the house, and the crowd was just great! We had 3 new couples and a new single lady, we hope you all had a wonderful time and that you'll be coming back really soon. The ladies really enjoyed earning all those beads, and it came down to a very close race between 4 of the ladies, in the end our very own writer here CJ came out the winner with an impressive 35 sets of beads. Congrats CJ, we hope you enjoy your prize. We also had our weekly raffle, and everyone really seemed to be getting into that as well. We have some surprise raffle prizes that we will be adding in here and there, so hopefully you will be there on one of those nights to get in on some great prizes.

We kept all of our guests wondering for a while, we gave everyone coming in the door a playing card and just told them to hang onto them. As the night went on people really got curious, and when we did finally explain it, it turned out to be a huge success. The idea was for everyone to find the person of the opposite sex that had that same card, we used a different deck for women and men. It was a quick get acquainted game, just to get everyone to meet someone new and it worked out really well. I had several people tell me it really made them get up and talk to people, and they probably wouldn't have other wise, and that was the whole point behind it. We will be doing many more things like that in the future, just something simple and quick to help ease the shy people into a conversation.

The staff worked hard Sunday on another change to the club, we're not gonna tell you what it was this time, you'll just have to come and find it. We have many more new things planned in the future, so you'll just have to come and check them out.

We have another discount program now available for our loyal club members, if you attend just 10 Saturday parties in 6 months you qualify for the discount. Please ask for a punch card next time your at the club, they are at the front door.

Join us next Saturday night for Sports Night, come dressed in your favorite team apparel, and be ready to team up and play some wacky games. We have the Dicky Ring Toss, Pin the pickle on the Penis and a great relay game. Don't forget to take advantage of our FREE Fridays, just pay for your Saturday party on Friday night and get Friday at no charge. A whole weekend for just your $50 donation, plus membership if due.

The following Saturday March 3rd will be our Beach party, we will have some fun even if it isn't quite summer yet. This is also our own Sped's birthday, so we will be celebrating that as well. Remember if your at TMP celebrating something to let us know, we'd be happy to let everyone know your there celebrating. If you want to plan something special, let us know ahead of time and we will help you work out the details.

Sundae!!!

WOW!!!! Saturday's (February 10,2006) party was awesome! I just hope everyone else had as good of a time as I did. I recomend anyone who likes being licked to be a sundae on there birthday, what a treat. I went threw the last hour with the DJ counting down the minutes, which made me a little nervous but I decided to be blindfolded and I think it made it even more exciting! It was messy but the staff made sure it didn't get out of control. Thank you to everyone who participated! Then my husband got lap danced by a few of the gals (Thank you to all). It was a great party and i can't wait till it's my birthday again!

New Home on The Web

The Meeting Place will soon have a new home on the Internet, for now the blog will serve as our website. You can find all of the current up to date information here. When the new site is ready we will post the link, until then keep checking here for all of your Meeting Place information. The club has a new e-mail address as well, meetingplace@wowway.com. Please direct all questions, suggestions or anything else there or use the e-mail questions button on the right.

There have been some changes made to The Meeting Place staff as well. Dale, Andy and Mary are no longer affiliated with The Meeting Place in anyway. Phyllis has made this decision due to irreconcilable differences, and the remaining staff will continue to support her and the club in anyway we can. There have been a lot of big changes at the club this past year, and we will continue to move forward and have many more changes and a whole lot of fun to look forward to in the years to come.

We have received a lot of requests from other club members to be part of the staff. We thank all of you for your generous offer, and we will keep in mind everyone who has made the offer. We were all pleased to hear so many of you want to pitch in and help at the club, but we still have quite a large staff and do not need anyone at this time. There are other ways all club members can help outside of the club though, there is nothing better than word of mouth to bring in new people. Anyone who wants to help can do so by spreading the word that TMP is better than ever. There are 4 links to the right for places that have reviews of our club, make a review let other people know what you think. If your a member of other swingers sites, help promote TMP and the parties we throw. The larger the parties, the more fun for everyone. We have nice sized parties now, but there's still more we can all do to bring in even more people, which in the long run means more friendships and fun for all club members. While your at the club, make a point to introduce yourselves to a new member, we've been averaging about 3 new couples a weekend, make them feel welcome. We were all new at once and I'm sure we all remember how scary that can be, our host couples do a great job, but I'm sure the new couples would love meeting even more people and feeling like they were part of the club on their first night there.

Phyllis and all of the staff thank all of you for your support, and all of the great suggestions and compliments you have all been sending. We will continue to work to make TMP the #1 Club in the Midwest.

Valentine's weekend

We had a great crowd on Friday, and we're so excited the Friday crowd keeps growing, and more and more people are taking advantage of the weekend Special. TMP also began carrying a small selection of adult toys starting with Friday, so next time your at the club check out the toy case located near the front door.

Saturday's party was just wild. We had so much going on and it was just awesome. We had some birthday's to celebrate and they brought their own special fun, as well as our Valentine themed party. The club was full of hearts and candles and our DJ played lots of great slow dances. I will let our birthday girl give you her own version of her birthday celebration, she is also one of the writers here. I just know she and her hubby both seemed to enjoy their birthdays a whole bunch. So Happy Birthday and Anniversary Kristina and Smily! We all hope you enjoyed celebrating your special events at The Meeting Place.

We have begun holding raffles as well on Saturday nights, we not only have toys for sale now but you can win them too. One of our host couples took care of our raffle this past Saturday, they were selling tickets by the arm length, and we gave away 5 great prizes. Thank you to everyone that helped out, P and B who sold the tickets and CJ for drawing out our winners. We really appreciate all the help.

There are more exciting changes coming, so keep checking things out and we will let you all know about everything as TMP keeps moving forward. One thing to note here, the blog is now the official TMP home page, the regular website no longer exists, so please update your bookmarks and come back here when you need information or to see upcoming events. This coming Saturday will be our Mardi Gras Party. If you've celebrated Mardi Gras at TMP you know how this works, but for anyone else who may be wondering..... We give all of the guys beads coming in the door, the ladies try and earn your beads. How? Well that's pretty much up to you. The Lady with the most beads at the end of the night is our winner. Now we've had some guys in the past go out and shop for beads on their own to add to what we give out at the door, this is perfectly fine with us, and we will count them in the final count as long as it's not their lady who has them at the end of the night. This gives the guys more of an opportunity to give out even more beads. So come up with your ideas on earning those beads ladies, we know just how creative you all can get.

The following Saturday will be our Sports Night theme, come dressed in your favorite team apparel, see guys we can come up with things for you too. Ladies we know you can make just about anything sexy. We will also be having the TMP sexy Olympics that night as well. We will be dividing everyone up into teams and we have some great games for you all to have a friendly competition with.

Not Too Cold for a Wet T-shirt

This was just an awesome weekend, despite the bad weather. All of us at the club weren't really affected once inside. I want to thank everyone who braved the bad weather, and we hope you all made it home safely and are keeping warm.

The Wet T-shirt contest was a big hit. Thank to B who got all the ladies wet and C who helped them all in and out of the pool, you gentlemen did a great job. To everyone that helped keep the floor dry and grab water for B to pour, thanks to you as well, awesome job. Finally to all the ladies who participated, you were all winners, and did a great job, we know that water was cold. A was our big winner of the night, sorry we try and keep peoples names out of here so you will all have to just guess which A she was, but she know who she is so congrats to you.

All of the ladies who participated received a participation prize, as well as the pleasure of getting wet from B. When the competition was over it was time for the real party to begin. We had a great crowd, 4 new couples as well as a new single gentlemen. Welcome to all of you, we hope you all had a great time. a few couples also joined us who haven't been to the club is in a while, welcome back M and R, R and S, and C and T and anyone else I missed. Oh yeah once again Happy Birthday C, we hope you had a great night, sure looked like you enjoyed your ladies dance. The action upstairs was a lot of fun too, everyone who made it up to the 3rd floor orgy we know you all had a great time.

Oh yeah and on a side note, anyone who was offended by the sheep, we apologize for any offenses it may have caused, we have spoken to the owner and asked that she please keep better control of her animals, or in the future they will no longer be allowed to attend. (ROFL) Sorry if you missed the party, this comment will just have to leave you wondering.

The staff did another one of our great planning sessions today as well, so as soon as I post this I will be updating our upcoming events, so please check out all the great stuff we have planned. We also have some other surprised planned too, but they wouldn't be a surprise if I told you about them, so you will just have to come out to the club to find out what they are or wait and read about them after they happen here. Oh and to the group who wanted to start the petition to do a Wet T-shirt Car wash, we're sorry the petition was denied before it even got started, please let's stick to more indoor activities. Your suggestions are great, this one we really can't agree with, but please keep them coming, they at the very least spark even more great ideas. (lol)

Ok folks on a more serious note, we just all had an awesome weekend. We're sorry to those of you who wanted to be there and couldn't because of the bad weather. We did schedule in another Wet T-shirt contest in May so anyone who missed this one and wanted to be there, hopefully you can keep that date open and make the next one. We will be having our Valentine's Day party next weekend. We will not only have an open Mic night, but we will also be celebrating a few birthday's. K has requested to be a human sundae, so we have that to look forward to as well. For the open Mic night, if you need special music or anything please click the button to the right and send a request to the DJ, we will try and accommodate everyone but we are only human and do make mistakes too so please be understanding if we don't have exactly what you need. Togas we're a hit

This past weekend we had our Toga party. Getting everyone into Togas started out slow, it took the staff starting out getting into togas first to get everyone in the mood, but soon everyone followed. CJ did a great job and I think she had fun too helping everyone tie their togas. TMP provided the sheets, and everyone just got creative. It was a lot of fun, we learned though that Twister should not be played in a Toga, they don't have much give and makes it difficult to hold a position, but still they seemed to get a lot of laughs playing twister. Maybe next time we can get them to opt for nekkid twister? Just a thought.

All in all it was a good party, everyone had a lot of laughs and had a great time. There was a lot of good food and dancing and everything else in between. Thank you so much to those of you that helped out and cleaned up here and there, the staff really appreciates the extra hands.

So we've heard a lot of chatter about next weeks party the last few months. It seems that the wet T-shirt contest is looking like one of our favorite events, and everyone has been talking about it for a while now and making plans. So next Saturday looks like one party you won't want to miss. One of our regulars has asked to be the water boy, and we've granted his wish, so it looks like B will have the privilege of getting all of you ladies wet. We have plenty of T-shirts for you to show off in, feel free to alter them how ever you like to make you feel your best.

For our Valentine's party, which will be Feb 10th, we will also be doing an amateur night. If you need music or anything like that please use the music requests button to the left so we can make sure we have it for you ahead of time. The price of the Valentine's party for couples and single gentlemen will remain the same. Single ladies the cost is $10 or one of the following: the big can of Maxwell House coffee, 2 100oz bottles of laundry detergent, 24 pack of double roll toilet paper or an 8-10 pack of paper towels. Membership fees are extra if they are due.

Swing Towns is a swings site with profiles, chat rooms, events calendar and much more. They help our club out by letting us promote it on their site, they also give us free gold memberships that we can give away every month. These memberships give you complete access to the entire site for a month, including the chat rooms and e-mail.

So since we have these memberships and we can now give them away via e-mail I thought we would hold a drawing here on our site. The staff needs some help with suggestions for themes and games. So for every suggestion you make we will put you into a drawing for a free gold membership at SwingTowns. Togas and Twister....Sounds like a fun time

This coming weekend we will be having our "Animal House" Style frat party complete with Togas and Twister.....what more could you want? This should prove to be a really fun exciting party. So Hope to see everyone out in their togas just having a great time. Don't have a sheet? Not a problem, we have plenty and I'm sure we can find someone to help you fashion it into a great Toga. Here's the Basic instructions on how to tie a Toga:

Around the waist at least once Pin it at that point Throw the rest over one shoulder Around the back Pin it again at the waist. Wear gym shorts underneath (this is a flexible point) Try to wear sandals, if possible Now that's the basic design. Used by males at least. Variations used by females would be to use the some basic wrap design, of some form, often followed by small horizontal bands (leather, chain, whatever), accentuating waist and bust line. Usually women want to have the costume at least be attractive, whereas guys really don't care how dufus they look. If fact, the more dufus you look, the more your friends will make fun of you, and thus the more popular you will be at the party.

If you haven't been to The Meeting Place lately, there have been a lot of changes taking place and we're really excited about them. We now have a staff of 14 wonderful volunteers, they not only help keep the place clean and neat but they also come up with all of the great themes and events, help out our new couples, add in some special touches here and there and so much more. A few weeks back we installed new carpeting in the main meeting area, and we are working on saving up for new floors for the rest of the meeting area and dance floor. We have a DJ every Saturday night, as well as a theme or event for you to enjoy. There's new longer tables in the meeting area so more people can sit together and get to know one another. The biggest room upstairs has been moved around to make it more comfortable. We've added personal products to the bathrooms to help make your time at the club more comfortable. There's little things happening all over the club, and the staff is just doing a great job at getting everything done that needs to be.

We want your experience at the club to be a good one, we're working really hard to make the club the best adults only club in the Midwest. We could still use the help of the rest of the club members though, make suggestions, e-mail them (use the e-mail questions button on the right), use the suggestion box at the club, talk to a staff member. We want all of our themes and events to be fun and entertaining, so tell us what you enjoy or don't. What would make a party just that much better for you, what else could we be doing to get more people to participate in themes and events? Help us build membership by talking with others, giving out the website information, and filling in reviews for the club. You can find links to do that on the right, there's 4 sites I know about that have reviews of our club. Post comments here and let people know what you think, anyone can leave a comment. If you have an adult profile on yahoo or one of those sites, put our link in there and promote the club. If your active swingers online, suggest using the meeting place as a spot to meet another couple. Help us by keeping the club clean, the rules about no food, drinks and smoking upstairs are to keep the upstairs areas free from messes and spills. If you do see a mess or something that needs attention let a staff member know so we can take care of it. If you see someone upstairs with those things, let one of us know so we can explain to them why it's not allowed. Those are some of the things you as club members can help with.

2007 is going to be our best year yet at TMP. We have a lot of exciting things planned for the club, lots of changes and hopefully a lot of fun for everyone. So if you haven't been in awhile, come check it out and see what's new.

Flower Power

This weekend we had 2 really nice parties. Friday was a great crowd, and there was a lot of great conversations going on. With the Friday special we are now averaging about 10 couples on a Friday evening. It's a nice small party, but the price is also 1/2, so if your looking for a more intimate party, or just want to see what going to a club is like, you may want to check out our Friday party. It's just some good music in the background, and a great way to meet some new people and have some fun.

Saturday's theme was Hippies and Flower Children, we had a good turn out for the theme event. A lot of people even dressed for the occasion, we had one couple as always, who goes that bit extra and has a whole lot of fun with costuming. Probably the reason they won a free party at Halloween. B & P your outfits were just great, even if B did look like Johnny Bravo. We had some new people as well, we hope you all enjoyed your time at TMP and that you come back really soon.

The staff also threw in a big surprise to our lovely club owner on Saturday, new carpeting in the bar seating area. If you weren't there this past weekend, you missed the exciting new development, Phyllis was absolutely tickled over her new carpet, and we all felt pretty great about surprising her. To everyone that helped make that possible, thank you so much, it looks so nice down there, what a difference a little paint and carpet make. Can't wait for our next BIG project, I know we're all looking forward to that one.

If you haven't been out to TMP lately, you really need to stop in and check it out. We have an awesome staff team that really has just been working really hard to make some really exciting changes at the club. There's new curtains in some areas, new carpet of course in the bar seating area, lots of updates and changes, you really have to see the difference for yourself. So pick your favorite event from our upcoming events list and plan on making a trip out to see everything and have some fun while you are there.

This coming Saturday we will be playing truth or dare. We've had a lot of questions about how we play at TMP so I am going to take a moment to explain. We ask for a volunteer to go first. You come up, choose who will go next and then you choose a truth or dare from an array of cards. All the truths and dares are already done for you, so it's not something you have to think up. We have everything on cards we leave face down, some of the dares are specific for male and female, you choose one card and do what it says if it's a dare, or answer if it's a truth. We do ask since there is an opportunity to simply take a truth that everyone participate. This makes the game move along faster, and everyone stays entertained this way. We actually have 2 levels of Dares as well, the first level is from a store purchased adult game, these are more of the tame dares. The second level contains the more ambitious dares, these are the ones thought up by your peers at a previous party. Some of these take a bit more bravery to complete, but it's all in good fun, and last time we played everyone had a really great time.

So we hope to see you all come out and have a great time. If truth or dare isn't your thing maybe try the week after for our Animal House Frat/Toga party.

Club Reminders

Hope you all had a great New Years. We are all looking forward to an awesome year at TMP. We hope to see everyone out at lots of parties and having a great time. Since we are in the New Year I just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of a few things.

Don't forget to check out the Calendar here for all of our upcoming events. We have a theme or game or something every Saturday. We also welcome your suggestions, there is a suggestion box at the club, or you can also e-mail we_swing_4_fun_in@yahoo.com and leave your suggestions there.

The Friday special is going over so well, we will be keeping that going for awhile. If you want to come both Friday and Saturday night, you can pay for the whole weekend on Friday and pay only Saturday's price.

Singles, there have been some changes to the singles policy for both the ladies and gentlemen. If you are a single please read the singles policy in the links section here on the blog.

Membership cards, we still have some people who are coming in without their cards. Membership card must be shown at the door every time you come into a party. If you do not have your card we will gladly replace it for you, but you will have to pay for a new membership. Membership is a yearly fee, and we do not keep records other than the card you are given as to who has or hasn't paid for their membership, so please remember to bring your card along with you. We apologize for not remembering whose we have or haven't seen recently, but we have so many members that it is impossible to remember everyone, so please don't be offended if we ask to see your card.

Lockers are only to be kept by members who attend parties at the club at least twice a month. If you are there less than twice a month and leave a lock on a locker at the club, the lock will be removed and the contents placed in the lost and found. We keep a list of who belongs in which locker, and any locks left behind without letting a staff member know you are doing so, will be cut off. If you do attend at least 2 parties a month and wish to keep a locker please let a staff member know the locker number and your name(s) so it can be added to the list as an approved lock.

Please also remember that The Meeting Place is also Phyllis' home and everyone should treat it as such. The staff at the club are only volunteers, we go home just like the rest of you to real jobs and families and we really do appreciate everyone who cleans up after themselves. If you do see something that needs attention, please at least let a staff member know, don't leave it for someone to come across by mistake. We do ask that everyone leave the club by 11:00 a.m. after a party so the staff has a chance to go through and clean, and still have time left in their days to take care of their needs at home. If your unsure of who is a staff member, they are easily identified by the name badges they wear, just look for members wearing clear plastic name tags.

While the club is BYOB, and you are welcome to spend the night, encouraged in fact if you are drinking, please drink in moderation. Excessive use of alcohol only leads to problems and complications. What fun is it to drink until your sick or pass out? Not much for anyone, so please drink responsibly.

Please also remember our number 1 rule, no means no. This is for everyone not just the gentlemen. Ladies please respect the men as well when they say no, you would expect them to respect you. Be courteous to people, ask permission before joining in or touching anyone, and if they say no be understanding. Everyone has different comfort levels, and we want everyone to have a good time and be comfortable doing so. Don't take a no personally, it may just not have been a good time for what ever reason. Again if your having a problem please let a staff member know, we can't do anything about a problem if we don't know or find out weeks or months later.
With all that being said, we are looking forward to a great year at TMP. We have lots of fun events planned, and our hope is that all of you will come out and just spend some weekends enjoying yourselves. TMP above all else is a social club, and we have some of the greatest members around. There have been a lot of great friendships formed there over the years and I am sure many many more to come.

What to expect when going to a club

Many new couples seem to think that attending a party at a swingers club is a big orgy from one end to the other and that there will be pressure to participate. I hear this over and over when new couples come through the door for the first time. So I wanted to take a few moments to tell everyone what TMP (The Meeting Place) and the majority of swingers clubs are like.

First at TMP when you come in it looks very much like a house, it is a house except there is 14 bedrooms and what most call a very large bar area. Coming to TMP is much like going out to any night club, well except it is BYOB. The bar area has tables and chairs and a dance floor. There's a big pop cooler to keep your cold things in and a pop machine to add to your drinks. Most people use this area to simply meet people. They dance, talk, laugh and joke around. There may be a few playful things that go on here but for the most part it's pretty tame.

There is never pressure to do anything at any time that makes you uncomfortable. People wear what they are comfortable wearing, if you prefer to stay in your jeans and sweater all night and just hang out and meet people that is a fine way to go. Some people do dress down into lingerie, and all types of it. The ladies I would say mainly wear a chemise type nightie, but there are some that are more adventurous and get into the fun teddies and other skimpy outfits, there may even be a few who prefer being topless or naked. It's all a matter of comfort. For the men, boxers and T-shirts seem to be the majority rules clothing of choice, but there are some who go as far as the cute G-strings, and some just to a pair of lounge pants and t-shirt.

It's all about you and what makes you comfortable, don't feel because someone else goes and dresses down that you have to. You move at your own pace and should feel comfortable doing so. We have plenty of couple who do just come to meet other open minded adults. We do ask that if you want to go upstairs into the play area that you dress down. This again is to your comfort level, what ever form of night wear you are most comfortable in, that's fine with us. We ask that you wear slippers or flip flops or something along those lines and not street shoes, there's a lot of bare feet up there and getting stepped on by shoes hurts.

Ok now that's we've covered the clothing issue, let's move into other things. When it comes to playing that is completely your choice. The swingers lifestyle has many forms within itself. There are full swap couples, meaning they swap partners completely. There are soft swap couples, these couples may only swap for foreplay, or oral sex, but when it comes to actual intercourse they go back to their partners. There are couples that come simply because they like to watch and be watched. Then there are even others who are simply open minded enough to want to meet other open minded people and spend the night making friend for possible future encounters. There are couples that only play together, and those that only play apart. There are bi women and men, and straight women and men. There are those women who enjoy gang bangs, and couples who enjoy a good old fashioned orgy. There are couples who are just looking for a single female or male. These are things you and your partner should discuss before hand. Decide what things you would like to try, and what things you absolutely want to stay away from. If you decide that during you first time at a club you are only there to observe and meet people, stick to that. Come out, hang around, talk with couples, get a feel for the place, and then head home to discuss it. Any and all forms of that list above are acceptable. It's all about you and your comfort levels.

We always try and tell new couples to discuss your limits. This lifestyle works when communication is good. You must be able to tell each other what it is your looking for and decide what your rules are. This goes for going to a club or just meeting a couple outside of a club situation. Discuss everything, from condom use to how far either of you are willing to go and let your partner go. Make sure things are clear between you before meeting anyone or attending any parties. That's a sure way to make sure you will not have problems with your partner later.
If you go to a club, and you have your set rules, don't change them half way through the night. Go home discuss it first, and then decide if you want to change things. We say things sometimes because we're excited and then later regret changing it, or come to find out our partner was just too uncomfortable to state their case in the situation. This is where a lot of couples run into problems. So if you have a rule about not playing the first time you go to a club, don't suddenly decide through the night you are both comfortable enough to do so now that you've actually gotten there and met a few people. Wait go home and if you are both still in agreement after you've had a chance to discuss it outside of the club, then change your rules then, and come back again to another party.

I haven't heard a lot of men complain about this one, so I am going to put this out there for the women. A lot of women, myself included when I was new, think because you are at a club and you are putting yourself out there so to speak, that it's ok for anyone to touch you and you really can't say anything about it. This is so NOT the case. It is your body and you get to decide who can or can't touch or anything else for that matter. Just because you let someone do something once this also doesn't mean they should just assume it's ok again. There should be a level of respect there. Do not let yourself be pressured by anyone, your partner included to do anything that you may possibly feel regret over later. Life is too short to have regrets, if your uncomfortable speak up, don't stay silent and deal with it later. If someone does do something or goes to do something you just aren't comfortable with say NO. It is ok to say no, I will repeat that, it is very ok to say NO. I know Phyllis (the club owner) and myself try very hard to make sure all ladies know that for a fact. If you are uncomfortable saying no, work some sort of signal out with your partner ahead of time so they can say no for you. You do need to learn to be a bit brave here though and say no for yourself, it is very empowering, learning to say no or yes what ever the case may be. It really is your choice, and you shouldn't let someone else make it for you.

For all new couples, clubs can be intimidating. Your nervous as heck, your afraid of rejection, and your scared that others won't talk to you. We all know this, everyone who is in that room with you at some point was there for a first time. Nervousness and fear are quite common, and almost every new couple has some at a certain level. This is totally normal. A club is only going to be what you make of it though, if you come in and sit off by yourselves and don't at least try and meet people, you probably won't have a very good time. Our club has a staff of 13 members, most of whom are there on any given night. We also have a theme or event every Saturday night to try and help people get acquainted. If you are really having a hard time of it, and just can't seem to break out of your shell a little. Find a staff member, let them know your having a problem, we're used to helping new couples get through first night jitters. When going through a tour, our host couples invite new couples to sit with them, take them up on that offer. They will help introduce you to other club members. Get out on the dance floor, participate in the game or event. We do our best to try and make sure everyone is having a good time, but there are times when we are busy and don't get to everyone, so please let us know if you are really just having a hard time meeting people. Our club has enough members who come on a regular basis who we know would be more than happy to sit and help out a new couple and introduce them around.

So what sets TMP apart from other clubs, well for one it's so much more like going to a party at a friends house than it is a club. Dave and I have attended a few other clubs, we chose TMP because the people there were real. Everyone was friendly, you weren't judged on appearance, or finances, or color. It's just a group of real people who work hard all week and want a place to let off some steam over the weekend. TMP is much like going to any local bar, we all think of Cheers when we think of TMP. It really is a place to just be yourself, unwind and make some great friends. Anything else is a bonus.

I hope this post set some fear to rest for some people. I know going to a club was very intimidating for me personally, I was absolutely terrified. I was curious though at the same time, and after my second visit to TMP I realized that it really was a nice place to hang out. Most people who know me would never know I was one of those couples who sat off in the back table in the room and kept to myself. I was extremely quiet and shy and wasn't going to put myself out there for anything. There happened to be a couple at the club on our second visit who just asked us to sit with them, we did and the rest is pretty much history. It was that night I realized that I could just go and meet people and I didn't need to feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to do. It took me a little while longer to learn it was ok for me to say no when I felt uncomfortable, which is why I always tell women they can say no at any time for any reason, and they don't have to share that reason if they don't want to. The words no should be enough for anyone. So where I was once shy and timid, I am now more confident and self assured. I love being part of a wonderful place like TMP. I have made some of the best friends in my life there and I love being there on the weekends, which is why I take the time writing for this page as well as volunteering my time at the club. The Meeting Place is a special place, and it is so because of it's people and it's owner.

I hope this post helps even just one couple with their fears of clubs. One last piece of advice, if you attend a club and your first experience isn't great give it another chance on another night. If after your second of third time there you still don't feel like this is a place you'd like to visit again, try another club, give it the same opportunity. All clubs have a different atmosphere and feel to them, and because the crowd constantly changes so does the attitude a little, so don't be so quick to give up if you didn't have a fantastic night your first time. Sometimes it could just be your nerves, or maybe it was just an off night. What ever the case, give it more than one chance you might just be really glad you did, I know I am.

New Years Weekend

First The Parties: This was a weekend to be remembered. We did have any themes, just great parties, great music and great people. Oh yeah and some sex along the way too. Those people who attended all weekend, probably had one of the best weekends of their 2006 year. Everyone who attended at least 1 night I'm sure had a great time.

Friday was an awesome party. Those that were there on Friday we mostly our all weekend couples and singles. They started out the weekend relaxing and getting to know one another. The hot tub seemed to be the focal point for many and there were people sleeping peacefully in every room by the end of the evening.

Saturday: Some headed out for shopping, others our for Wine tasting, and some just hung around ate some food, played some cards, did puzzles, chatted and got in some naps and some afternoon delight. Saturday night's party started out with Dinner and then Dave kicked up the music and we danced and played and met some more people, and more people joined in on those spending the weekend and we had a great time. Lot's of conversations about Sunday's party and New Years Eve and all the Hype.

Sunday: Even more shopping, you people know who you are. Then some more great food, I think we all ate quite a bit this weekend, but it helps keep the energy level up too. Need to replenish for the big night. A lot more nappers on Sunday, myself included. Then everyone who wasn't there for the whole weekend started to arrive and we quickly filled to capacity, and everyone was just dressed up so nice and the food was awesome. Yes more food. Then Dave started the tunes off slow and worked everyone up to lots of dance music, the floor was packed for hours. They even requested the Macarena, there's some sick people in this world......lol. We not only did the macarena, but also the Cha Cha Slide, YMCA and our ever popular Chicken Dance. Ok I know probably not what you would expect at at swingers club, but the ladies really like this dance and it gets them pumped up for the real dance music. Funny that it started off as a joke one Saturday night. As midnight approached we got the punch made for toasting and got it and the noise makers out to the crowd, and we all helped Dave count down to the New Year. With that there were lots of kisses and well wishes and the partying went on. Only this time there was a twist. We had some feisty people in the crowd and they just wanted to bring the New Year in with a bang, so one of the guests announced that she would be up on the 3rd floor for a good old fashioned orgy and anyone that wanted to go with her was welcome to join in. It took about 2 seconds for people to start heading up the stairs and the real fun began. There were 22 people up there at one count, not that anyone was really counting, but that was a lot of people, and they absolutely brought in the New Year with a Bang. Others who didn't find the orgy scene to their liking went off into rooms in pairs and trios and foursomes and moresomes. Some stayed downstairs and decided that dancing was their pleasure, what ever anyone's pleasure I'm sure they found it pretty easily that night. Although many of us could probably use an extra day off to rest, we all had a blast.

Second: Yes second usually comes after first and since I started this post off with a first there has to be a second. TMP has the best staff of any club, and yes I am biased, but that's ok, it's allowed. Without the staff at TMP these parties and all of the others throughout the year would not run as smoothly or be as easy. The TMP staff works very hard to make sure everyone has a great time at our parties. So thank you to all of you, you all know how much each and every one of you means to Phyllis. I just want everyone to know how special you all are.

So if you missed New Year's weekend 2006....you missed one hell of a party. Don't keep missing out, if you have never been to the club, or you haven't been there in a while you really need to come check it out. For New couples, although we may write here about our parties and things that go on, TMP really is a great place to meet people and make new friends above all else. There is never any pressure for you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, and it is ok for you to just come out and meet people. February 17th Mardi Gras - Ladies.....Come out and get your beads, how do you get them.....Well ladies just like New Orleans on Fat Tuesday....You earn them. How? That's up to the gentlemen...All of our guys are given beads at the door....And the lady with the most at the end of the night is proclaimed the winner. There may even be a prize. Guys we've been asked a couple of times now if it's ok for you to bring your own beads along as well to give out, and the answer is absolutely yes, we will count those beads as well for the ladies.

February 24th Sports Night- Ok everyone should be participating in this one, this is an easy dress up theme. Come wearing your favorite sports apparel. We decided it was time we had a dress up theme the guys could even get into. Ladies no reason why sports can't still be sexy. We also decided that since sports will be the theme of the evening this would be a great time to do a TMP Sexy Olympics, so we have some sexy, sporty games planned for all of you to play and get to know one another better. We know there will be a Dicky Ring Toss, and a sexy relay and some other great things as well.

March 3rd Beach Party - Come wearing your favorite Beach attire, by this time of year most of us are so tired of winter, a night of fun in the sun, even if it is pretend will be very welcomed. We'll be doing the Limbo and tossing around the beach balls, so come out and have a good time.

March 10th Hooker Night - This is always a really popular game night at TMP, all of our gentlemen are given a set amount of cash at the door that they can spend on our ladies as they see fit. The lady who had earned the most by the end of the game is declared our top lady of the evening.

March 17th St. Pat's Party - The Wearing of the Green, even those of you who aren't Irish can be Irish this one day of the year, but make sure your wearing green, we may have some pinchers in the crowd. We discussed this whole wearing of the green thing and decided we're all kind of tired of green usually by this day, so how about the wearing of the Orange, orange is an Irish color too and so under-rated.

March 24th Gigilo Night - Ok Guys this is your turn to earn the money from the ladies. Our last Gigilo night got the ladies going really good, and we loved spending that play money. This time we've heard you all talking and there's been some challenges made, so the ladies are expecting you all to come through for them. So come on out and show off a little and earn some of that play money, who will be crowned King Gigilo is up to you ladies.

March 31st Leather and Lace Night - This is a dress up theme everyone can get into. Wear your prettiest lace or your sexiest leather and come out for a night of fun.

April 7th Pretty Panties and Funny Boxers - This is another dress up theme, for the ladies wear your prettiest panties ( the DJ is partial to boys shorts for anyone interested) For the Guys bring out those funny boxers, we know you all have them.

April 14 Human BINGO - This is a new one we're trying out at TMP. Everyone will be given Bingo cards, and compete to find people matching the descriptions on their cards (similar to the scavenger hunt for anyone whose played that) We will give you a BINGO pattern to complete and the one who gets BINGO first wins. We may play on several different cards depending on participation, and maybe even give out a prize or 2.

April 21st Hot Legs and Best Buns Competition - We will have a Hot Legs contest for the ladies, so break out those short skirts and your best heels and show off those sexy legs. For the Guys, this will be your turn to get wet, we will be having a Wet Buns competition, the guys with the best butt will be proclaimed our winner. Ladies will get to vote for the guys and guys for the ladies. We will crown our winners MS. Sexy Legs and Mr. Best Buns for the evening.

April 28th Sexy Pictionary - This has really become a club favorite. We play similar to the board game, except we use teams and of course adult terms. Each team picks a member to draw, that person comes up picks a term or word from the bowl and draws it while his or her team mates try and guess what they are drawing. This one usually get the whole club involved as well as a lot of laughs to go around, so come out and play a great game with us. May 5th Fiesta Night - In honor of Cinco de Mayo we will be having our own Fiesta night, feel free to dress for the theme. We will have some great Mexican munchies as well as a pinata ( even if it's not what you would call a traditional pinata) and some other goodies. So join us for a wonderful celebration.

May 12th Pole Dance Competition - The last time we did this competition we had some great dances and a whole lot of great sports, so we figured we'd try again. We got the newbies even up on the pole last time, as well as some very entertaining gentlemen, so let get everyone out and try the pole. I'm sure we can dig up some prizes for our best dancers.

May 19th Wet T-shirt Competition - Our last 2 were such big hits we decided we need to keep getting the ladies wet more often, besides we know you guys love it. Our last one we know a few people who really wanted to be there missed out because of bad weather, others of you braved the snow and cold anyway to get in on the competition, so we're looking at a really big turn out for this competition, all of the ladies have been really creative in cutting up those shirts we provide and making them as sexy as possible. So come on in and be prepared to get creative and get wet.

May 25th - 27th Memorial Day Weekend - Let's all bring in summer with a huge weekend long party at TMP. Phyllis throws the best parties in the Midwest, but our three day weekends are always just the most fun you can possibly have in one weekends time. We provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on both Saturday and Sunday nights, so you never even have to leave the club. If the weather is nice I'm sure we can have some more fun with water out in the yard, and even catch some sun on the decks. We will have special pricing available for the whole weekend, and as soon as that's all set up we will begin taking reservations. I will get more information posted as it becomes available so keep checking back for it.

Hope to see everyone out at some of these events, I will keep updating this post as future events become available. Remember you can also call the club to see what's going on. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. I just want to say Friday night was really awesome with everyone being there and sharing a holiday meal with all of you. The food everyone brought was awesome, and I hope we can continue that as a tradition in the years to come. Sometimes it's just really nice to sit and talk for an evening with friends and just celebrate together. Thank you to everyone who came and shared in the Holiday parties at TMP.

Looking ahead, New Years looks like it is just going to be one heck of a weekend party. We have at least 25 couples who are coming for the entire weekend, and at least that many more who will be there for Saturday and/or Sunday. So if you are still considering coming out for the weekend, I know you won't be disappointed with this party. We will have a DJ both Saturday and Sunday nights, breakfast lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday as well as breakfast on Monday morning. I'm sure we can think of ways to pass the time in between nightly parties. We do have some games available as well as cards for anyone who wants to use them.

If you can't make it out for New Years that's ok too, we have a party every Friday and Saturday night, with a theme or event every Saturday. We hope to see everyone out at the club at least a few times in 2007. Happy Holidays everyone!

Well the holidays are upon us and as usual they are busy for all. The Friday evening part was a wonderful get together of friends. After a good deal of eating (we had a wonderful potluck), most sat around talking and getting to know each other even better. We had a wonderful time with friends.

At this busy time of the year, we would like to wish every one a wonderful holiday. Please be safe and enjoy. We look forward to the New Year arriving and to the fun and friends that await in that new year.

Last Weekend

The Party on Friday's are still a nice size, a lot of people taking advantage of the Friday special. We knew this party would be smaller with all the Holiday events going on, but it was still a nice party and everyone had a good time.

On a personal note I wanted to thank everyone that was there Saturday night to help celebrate my birthday, even though I wasn't feeling very well you all made it a special night. So thank you all of you.

There will still be a party this coming Friday and Saturday night. Friday we will be having a pot luck dinner so if you would like to bring a dish to share please do. Saturday will be the X-mas party, the house is all decorated in pretty garland and lights so come out and enjoy.

Remember the 23rd is also the last day to make reservations for the New Years weekend. If you only plan on coming 1 night, no reservation is necessary but the reservations for the whole weekend will get you a discount of over $40.

Thank you to everyone that brought in Toys, for our Toys for Tots collection. I know they will make some kids very happy this Holiday.

Gigilo Night

We had an excellent party on Friday night, although it was a bit cold, everyone managed to find a way to keep warm. Those of you that were there, the second furnace is working once again, thank you for your patience.

Saturday night we tried out a Gigilo night. The ladies had asked for it after our ever popular Hooker night. It started out a bit slow, we have some really shy guys, but we had one that was brave enough to get the party started. B offered himself up first, and to get the others playing some of the staff ladies posed a challenge to the men that would let them have the opportunity to earn $400 play money for danicing for us. We got 2 brave men to do that. Eventually a few other men jumped into the game and we all had a blast. We ended the game with a tie, J and B both earned $9,000 in play money. So we had them draw high card to determin the winner, and B won 1st place, J followed up in second and we had 1 gentlemen, M, who came in with only 1 hour left in the game and earned $7800 in play money, and he won 3rd. So congrats to all you lucky winners, we hope you all had fun participating. Enjoy using your party certificates for the various discounts.

Next Saturday we will be doing another team event, Adult Trivia. Don't worry CJ we will make sure you are never on team 4 again....lol. Our team events really seem to get people talking and laughing and just having a lot of fun. This will also be our last weekend for toys for tots, so please remember to bring in those new unwrapped toys and help out some needy kids this holiday.
The following weekend will be the club X-mas party, and don't forget to get your reservations in for New Years weekend. The final day to make reservations is December 23rd you can do that by following the reservations link on the right, calling the club or adding your name to the sheet by the door at the club.

Reservations are only to get you the discount on the entire weekend. If your only planning on coming for 1 night no reservation is necessary. Friday night will be a$35 donation, Saturday night a $60 donation, and Sunday a $75 donation, or with a reservation a $125 donation for all 3. Reservations help us plan for the meals we serve, it's so much easier when we know how many to plan meals for. We always make some extra but having a number to start with helps. We will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday morning. You are welcome to spend the entire weekend at the club, or head out here and there for some sight seeing or shopping, or what ever you choose.

Well it was suggested that I post this for everyone to read, here are some great tips for all you single men out there looking to have a great time as a swinger. This was posted by a very special member of our group who has been a single man in the lifestyle for a very long time. Hope it helps.

Hey all.... Here goes my thoughts again... After having been ask a
number of times how a single male get in to the swinging lifestyle,
I thought I'd share this bit of information..

Single males have gotten a bad rap... and the reason why, is because
a lot of the approaches that they have made in the past are
unwelcome in the swinging lifestyle. Well, single males.. here are
some tips for you to gain fun, friendships, and success in the
swinging lifestyle.

10 Quick Tips
--------------

#1. Always remember no means no. It doesn't mean that you insist on
pushing on and trying more. Will elaborate more on this later.

#2. When contacting a swinger group, couple or single females to try
to have some fun with them, never expect after an email that you
will be invited or meeting for drinks that night. There are alot of
groups,couples and single females out there that would much rather
chat and get to know you via yahoo messenger etc., before ever
meeting.

#3.) When you find someone on a yahoo profile that looks
interesting to you, please make sure and read their profile. There
are sometime that groups or couples are just looking for a bi-female
or couples. So if the profile says No single males don't even waste
your time contacting them.

#4.) Be respectful when contact a person, couple or group that
interests you. Let them know your age, location. and your interests.
sexual and non-sexual. Also when describing what you like sexually
don't describe things in a distasteful way. Example: instead of
saying. "I like my cock sucked". or " like to fuck ladies in the
ass". Tell them that you enjoy oral and performing anal on a lady.

#5.) Within your reach, When contacting a lady, couple or make
sure that they are located fairly close to you... and if not. it
would be somewhere that you are going to be traveling to over the
next couple of months.

#6.) Never write a single lady, couple or group when you will be
going to their town the next day if you've never chatted with them
before-- your chances are slim and none that you will be successful
finding someone or be invited to a party. Example: "Hey,.. I'll be
in town tomorrow in room 315 at the Hilton.. would you like to come
to my room for some fun?" Or can I just drop in to check it out.
That doesn't work in the swinging lifestyle if you've never been in
contact with this woman, couple or group before.

#7.) While chatting or emailing with a couple, female or group,
never push the issue to meet or be invited. Pushy will never get
you anywhere.

#8.) Respect all issues with couples, single females or groups. If
couples or females inside a group or outside, insist on the use
condoms, don't push the issue not to. Talk about everything with the
couples or single females before meeting or being invited. All the
do's and don'ts find out before meeting anybody or being invited. It
ensures better success. Do not expect sex with anybody the first
time you meet them or get invited in!! And remember. NO MEANS NO

#9.) If you are playing as a single male MAKE sure you are
single... and if not, that your wife does know about your
participation in the swinging lifestyle. Cause if not, you're not
Swinging. You're cheating. That will subject your new found friends
to your scandal.. And NO one, wants to be a part of someone else's
dishonesty.

#10.)Just remember. Treat others with respect and always be honest
and open-- when you do, you will gain friendship and trust. Trust is
a must in the swinging lifestyle and people aren't just a fuck.
There are many people in the swinging lifestyle that build life
friendships.

Would like any feedback from all of you couples and singles out
there on this and what you thought of it. And if you'd like to add
anything to this (couples and single females)...

For the single Males.. I know that some of you are seasoned
swingers, but there are some guys out there that would like to know

There was a definite disadvantage for a few of us this weekend!!! If you did not watch Tv or movies or know your singing artists, you were kind of up a creek. We played Assumed Identities which got us all around and meeting some people that we never knew were there on a regular basis. A great way to enjoy the company of the other people there.
Next week is "Gigilo Night" - Guys you better be ready to work to get those dollars!!! The women showed you how it was done a couple of months ago - let's see if you can do as well as they did.
Also, please don't forget that we are having a Toys for Tots campaign until December 16. Let's help out those kids that don't have all the wonder things that we have and give a little from our hearts.

New Couples opinion

We had one of our new couples from last weekend post to our yahoo group. I just wanted to share this positive feedback with everyone. Thank you J for taking the time to write such a nice compliment. The only altering to her post I made was to remove their full names and replace them with initials.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that was at TMP lastweekend for welcoming us so warmly. I was not exactly thrilled aboutgoing to this place (J), W is up for anything. I really didn'tknow what to expect and am always afraid people will bum rush you atthe door expecting you to play but it was very cool and not too manypeople rushed us which was very nice. But not only did they not rushus they welcomed us and talked and hung out and such. That is thefirst time that has happened at any club on or off premise. We havenever been accepted into a club so unconditionally before.So thank you all so much. And we will definitely try to bring otherpeople there also. We are booked through January so we probably won'tbe back until the end of January. Looking forward to some fun in thenew year.J

School Daze

We had a great turn out for our School Daze party.....and ladies I know all of our guys appreciated all of you that took the time to wear those great school girl outfits. You all looked so awesome.

Welcome to our new couple as well as our new single female, we hope you come back and join us for even more fun in the future.

I want to give special thanks to Andrea for helping to get Phyllis out on the floor during her favorite dance song. She may protest but we all know secretly that she loves every minute of it and W you did an awesome job out there dancing with her. Actually all of your guys were really great and you know who you are. Dave it was awesome that you got all the staff up there who in turn got everyone out on the floor. I know Phyllis loved that.

I updated the Upcoming Events here, so go check out what we have planned for all of you in the New Year. Keep those suggestions coming, we want to include everyone's interests too. To all our staff and all our regulars, I once again just want to say thanks for everything you do. You all are why TMP has been doing so well this year, I know Phyllis so deeply appreciates all the help everyone has given her. The regulars who keep coming back week after week, who feel like TMP is a second home, you in turn make others feel really welcomed. The staff you all know just how much you are appreciated for all you do, but I feel the need to make sure everyone who comes there for a night out knows just how special you all are.

TMP is very different from other clubs, the people there really take the extra time to make everyone feel welcome, it's one of the reasons we fell in love with the place to begin with. Yes it's a swing club, but it's so much more than that, we've all formed life long friendships too, and that's a beautiful thing. If you've been to other clubs and felt like you just didn't fit in, or no one talked to you, you really need to give TMP a try, we have some of the best club members in the world. It really is much like going to a party at a friends house, and everyone is welcome.

One last thing, we love helping you celebrate your special events in your life. Birthday, Anniversary, what ever your celebrating. Again, we had another great crowd of people at The Meeting Place. There were new faces, old faces, and faces that hadn't been seen for a few weeks. The evening started out slow but by the time we started "The Newly Wed/Not So Newly Wed" game all were ready to have some fun. Congrats to D and M for their 400 point winning score and to M and L for a second place score of 390!!!!
DJ Dave again kept the dance floor hopping! Thanks Dave for the great job you have been doing getting us the music to dance and have fun to.
This coming week, we will be having the "School Daze" night. Do you remember those dyas of high school nerds and cheerleaders? Well let's see what you really do remember!
On a more personal note - it was wonderful to be back at The Meeting Place after taking a week off and traveling to a conference in Baltimore. We went to a club there and did not feel the friendliness that we have here, nor did we really connect with anyone there. There is a lot to be said about the people that come to The Meeting Place. Even though we are from very different walks of life, we all seem to become friends here and there is a lot to be said for that. Thanks for making us and all who walk through the doors here feel welcome. This goes out to the staff, Phyllis, and all who come to The Meeting Place.

Glow Sticks Glow Sticks Everywhere

Our Glow Stick party on Saturday was a lot of fun. We had a really great crowd, and some people got really creative with the glow sticks. The one through the prince Albert was really almost strange, but at least very creative. We saw glasses and bras made from glow sticks, and just about everything in between. Walking through the halls upstairs with the lights turned down low, the glow sticks gave a really cool effect.

Our DJ Dave once again did a great job of keeping the dance floor full, although he had help. Andrea managed to get dancers to the floor when otherwise there might not have been any. When L did her pole dance, her back up dancers were great too. You ladies put together a great routine rather quickly, nicely done. The chicken dance, which has become a TMP Saturday night tradition, completely packed the dance floor. Then Dave got crazy with the dance music and you all went on most of the night.

We had a few faces we haven't seen in a while come back for the party, it was really nice seeing you all. It seems like we get more and more regulars coming back at least twice a month now. Even our newbies are finding themselves addicted after just one party. One of the new couples from last week, came back this week and used their coupon they won for the pole dance competition, I think their hooked! It seems to keep happening that way too, I even told them I couldn't remember what Dave and I did on Saturdays before we found TMP.

I absolutely love our club, it's like being at a party at a best friends house, except everyone can dress how they please and no one complains if a towel is your choice for attire for the evening. If you haven't visited TMP in the last 4 months your really missing out, we done so many new things with the club, and everyone seems to be loving all the changes. We hope you all decide to come back real soon. Don't forget to check out the link to the left for all of our upcoming events.

Next Saturday is our version of the Newly Wed game. We will be separating our couples and asking them questions and see just how many answers they can match. The winning couple will receive a prize. Then Dave will once again be playing all that awesome music for you. Pole Dancing

Although I'm sure that most of the guys were really only expecting the ladies to get out on the pole I have to give a huge pat on the back to Sue for getting not only the ladies but also a few of our guys out there on the pole. Sue you did a great job working the crowd and getting them involved. To everyone who was brave enough to get up there and give it a try, thank you, you are all the reason we keep trying to come up with fun things for you all to do.

Our winners, voted on by the staff, we're our new couple D & J, not only because they both did a great job, but because they both got out there and showed everyone that even if your new you can have a great time. We had a lot of new couples this weekend, 5 I believe it was, to all of you welcome to TMP, as Phyllis would say "we're glad you here!".

Looking ahead: Next Saturday we have our Glow Stick Party, so we expect all of you to get really creative with your glow sticks and just have a great time. The following Saturday we will be playing our version of the Newly Wed Game, just a short ice breaker to help couples get to know one another. On both nights as always our very own DJ, Dave will be playing some great music trying to get you all up on your feet. For all the other events coming up check out the upcoming events link on the left, and don't forget to get your reservations in for New Years, There's already about 25 couples on the list, this will be our biggest weekend of the year. If you were there last week for Halloween, you know just how much fun the really big parties are. We expect to break a TMP record this year with New Years. The Meeting Place

Hi all,

I just wanted to take a min to let everyone know how
much I appreciate the warm wishes for my recovery from surgery. I am really pleased to let you all know that my physical therapy is really coming along great, and this last week I was even able to bench press 2lbs. lmao, it sounds stupid but 2 weeks ago I couldn't even lift my arm so it still feels like a major accomplishment to me.

Now last nights party, The Pole Dancing, it sort of got off to a slow start, but soon we were able to get some other people to participate, even a newbie couple, that's right I said couple, a few really great "sports" (men) actually got up and danced and I can honestly say, the ladies enjoyed themselves watching. So thank you guys for giving us ladies a treat. I know some prizes were given out, not sure who received them, but I hope some of these folks who have been winning certificates start turning them in soon and joining us all for the fun and entertainment. Now for anyone who was disappointed that I didn't join in on the pole dancing, I'm really sorry, and maybe when I'm fully healed and there is another night like last night I will make sure to have a go at it....Yikes, like I know how to Pole dance, hehehehe

These games and special events that are going on seem to be great ice breakers, and especially the "newbies" seem to be using it to their advantage and meeting everyone alot quicker.

I want to thank everyone who is working to make this club an awesome place to go to. Just keeping up with the laundry, and supplies is a huge undertaking, and as if that wasn't enough you now work at some sort of entertainment that keeps the place rockin, keep up the good work, and a huge Thank You to Dave/the DJ you do a great job. To all the "Staff" you all are wonderful and I'm proud to be a small part of your group.

A very special Thank You goes out to Phyllis without you none of this would be possible, and I hope you had a great birthday.

We had an awesome Halloween weekend all around. Friday and Saturday night's were both a blast and the costumes on Saturday were really a lot of fun, some of you are very creative. Our Winners were B for the funniest costume he was our male cheerleader, P for the sexiest she was the sexiest Dorothy from the wizard of Oz I'd ever seen, S for the scariest, not sure what she called her costume, I was calling her the dark bride, she was all decked out in black lace, her face was all ghoulish, and she had black roses and a black flower wreath on her head, totally awesome, and R for the most original, he was as he typically is very creative, he was a tampon, yep that's right even down to his red string dangling off his tennis shoe.

All of our winners received a free party coupon for them to use as a couple. So we hope you all enjoy them really soon. CJ already gave you her insight on everything, but I want to take a moment to thank her personally for all that great food she made. Everything was just awesome and we got lots of compliments. I also want to thank our staff members, you all did a fantastic job of keeping things under control. Dave as always the music was fabulous, Diane and Dennis I know you guys were exhausted after all our prep work on Saturday afternoon and all your running on Saturday night, so thank you both, you are truly appreciated. Mary and Celes thank you for all your prep work as well, and for helping me at the door when you could. Sue and Omar thanks for your help in the bar area, we appreciate it. And thanks to everyone who picked up, cleaned up and just helped out in general, all of the staff thanks you for that. None of the staff is paid, we are all volunteer and when you help clean your own messes it makes it just that much easier for us to do our jobs and still enjoy the party ourselves.

I do want to comment here to about what the club is about. Our club is about meeting people, coming out having a good time meeting new like minded people and possibly playing around. I say this because sometimes I think people forget the purpose of the club, some people think just because they are there sex is a sure thing, sorry but that's not the case. I think some people also assume we have a fully paid staff so they don't need to respect the place because someone else will clean it up. The club first of all is Phyllis' home, it's not just a place of business or your weekend hang out, she still lives there the rest of the week, and it should be respected as someone's home, just as you would expect guests to respect your home. The staff was never expected to be a maid service, as I said none of us is paid, we do this because we like helping out and we all love Phyllis. I say this because we had a lot of accidents in the bathrooms this weekend, and really you should be cleaning this up yourselves, not leaving it for someone else to find. At the very least have the decency to come and tell someone so we can clean it up right away before anyone else has to deal with it. The club is also not a place to come and drink to excess, we've had a lot of this going on lately and it's really not the purpose for being there. If you are so nervous about swinging that you need to drink yourself stupid then maybe this isn't the right place for you to be. Having a few drinks while your sitting around meeting people is perfectly fine, but if you are drinking to the point of vomiting, or passing out, you really need to stop way before this point. We also highly recommend that if you are drinking plan on spending the night, it is still against the law to drink and drive and we would hate to see you get stopped for something so stupid, or worse hurt yourselves or others. I was glad to see so many of you choose to stay on Saturday night.

The parties at the club are fun and wonderful, and we all want you to have a good time. A few bad apples won't spoil the whole bunch but sometimes it does put a damper on the evening when people come across messes they'd rather not deal with. I'm just asking you to be more respectful of Phyllis and her home. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their experience at TMP. For those of you already doing this, we thank you, and we love having you as members of our club. If you do need help with something while at the club, please find a staff member, we all wear name tags that say staff, and we'd be more than happy to help you. Ok done with my little rant now.

Join us next Saturday for the pole Dance competition, we want to see the men out there too, and a few of you that were there this weekend we know you can do it we saw you. If you have a special song request for that night, leave a comment on this post before Thursday so I have time to find your music.

WOW - Now that was scarey!!

WOW - what a night!! The place was packed - there were about 50 couples there to enjoy the fun of an old fashioned Halloween party. We had fun Halloween themed food - eyeball cookies, ghosts of chocolate, lumbermen's fingers, and much more - even a cauldron of smoking punch!. Almost everyone participated in the costume contest - the winners were a "super absorbant tampon", a very sexy "Dorothy" from the Wizard of OZ, a scarey bride, and a very buxom male cheerleader. Thanks to all who participated - it was a lot of fun.
Beds were at a premium after the festivities - if you moved to go get a drink, you were out of luck cuz others were waiting to grab that bed and have a little fun themselves! More than we have ever seen (in our short association with the club!) stayed the night to enjoy and relax.
This coming week will be the pole dancing contest! Men - don't be shy - show us gals that you can be just as sensuous as the women are on that pole! The DJ will have music that will work for all. We look forward to seeing a lot of people there again this week.

TMP welcomes CJ to our blog team, so hopefully all of you people sick of hearing from me will get a different perspective on the place........LOL. Thanks for joining the team CJ. We will hopefully be adding in a few more team members, it's nice to hear others opinions on things. CJ is one of our newer club members (a few months), her and her Hubby have been at TMP just about every weekend since they joined the club and we love having them there. CJ has also graciously agreed to make the majority of the food for Halloween and she has some awesome stuff planned for all of you. She is one of our club members on injured reserve as well, starting to think we might need a TMP hospital soon or at least a table for all of you injured people.....lol, so we also wish her a speedy recovery and hope she gets out of her cast really soon.

The Meeting Place Hi All: I have to agree with Trisha - we all had a great time on Saturday night playing charades, even though some of the things we had to describe made us just look simply stupid!!!! Those that participated still had fun - now if we could get everyone to participate............!
It was great to meet the new couples of the group (2 couples who had not been there in a while and 1 new newbie couple). I hope that they continue to come and enjoy themselves as we do.
This coming week will be the annual Halloween Party!!! If you loved Halloween as a child then you will love this party just as much, we have some really great things planned for all to have fun with.

Friday and Charades

Friday's part was really great, lots of good people and lots of laughs. Friday's just seem to keep growing, which is awesome. We hope more and more of you can make it out on Friday nights.

Saturday night we had an awesome party as well, we had 2 couples who haven't been back in years, it was really nice to have you join us again. We also had 1 new couple, so welcome to TMP we hope you enjoyed your time there. As well as lots of couples who frequent TMP, always a pleasure to have you all, you all help to make TMP a special place.

Charades was our game for the night, and it went really well, even if all the members of team 2 chickened out. We still had 3 teams play, and everyone had a lot of fun, although we have decided that our lovely C will have to be teamed up with L for our next team game as it seems that C is always on the last place team and L always on the first, and we want to give them both a chance to see the other side.

Our Charades game had a sexy theme, and all of the movies, music, places, and misc items all had some sexy side, even if the acting out of these wasn't always sexy to watch....lol. We still had a blast and our winning couples each received $5 off party coupons. We did all agree that our version of picti*nary was more fun, but this worked too. We're still looking for game ideas, so feel free to offer up suggestions.

Next weekend is our famous Halloween party, we already have lots of reservations, and the club has been decked out in lots of Halloween fun. We'll have lots of great food and games to play as well as the costume contest. So if you haven't reserved your place yet do so now so you can get the discount at the door, we're expecting a full house and this party is the one you don't want to miss. Getting Better and Better

Friday night we had an excellent party. Lots of couples still taking advantage of our whole weekend special. Pay Saturday's price on Friday and get Friday free, in other words.....$50 for the whole weekend. Such a deal!

Saturday I just have to say this was a great crowd. You all made the scavenger hunt a success! Congratulations to our winning couples, we had a tie for second place C & L and P&D both won $10 off party coupons, and our big Winners for the night were T & M who received a coupon for a 1/2 price party.

All of our club guest spent an hour seeking out all sorts of things, from someone wearing a thong to the location of the humping pigs. No not real pigs....silly people. We actually had 4 couples who found someone one of them shared a birthday with, there were all sorts of other things to find. Like someone who has tried bondage, or someone who has had sex on a beach. Everyone scrambled to get all their sheets filled as fast as possible, and in the end no one actually finished completely, but our winners only missed 5 answers, quite impressive.

This was a great"get to know you" game and it got everyone talking to one another. It was nice to see so many of you continue talking and mingling beyond the game, that's the whole point in these games is to just break the ice for you, after that it's up to you.

To the staff, I just have to say I was told personally by at least 3 different people what a wonderful job you all are doing, so thank you to each and everyone of you on our team, you are what makes TMP a success, and I know Phyllis appreciates all your hard work. Sue even though you couldn't be with us, I just want to say what a trooper you were for coming last week, still on injured reserve and taking over as "pit boss" and Diane, you this week, coming in with those fantastic cookies and still helping out where you could the day after surgery. This is what team work is all about, even if we'd all love to tell you both to just sit and relax, your always right there helping where you can. I know I can speak for all of the staff and regulars at the club who know you both we all wish you a speedy recovery.

Next Saturday join us for Charades, we all know by now just how much fun everyone had with picti*nary, Charades should prove to equally as fun, maybe not as challenging for some but definitely just as much fun. The the following weekend, you all must join us for our Annual Halloween Bash, this year we are taking a step backwards into our childhood Halloween parties and having some fun kid style, you'll have to join us to see all the goodies we have in store for you. Don't forget to get those reservations in now before it's too late, reservations will only be accepted until October 26th.

Strip Poker a Hit

Friday we had a great party at TMP, it seems every weekend more and more people are taking advantage of the Friday night free when you pay for Saturday. Just awesome and the party size is growing. So if you want 2 nights of partying in a row take advantage of it yourself.

Saturday we had a smaller crowd the way Saturdays have been going, but that's ok everyone had a great time. Well maybe except for our very own DJ Dave who had a front row seat for the strip poker game. It seems our ladies are better poker players then our gentlemen, and Andy was our big looser of the night. A couple of the ladies played so well, that they didn't loose a piece of clothing, much to the men's dismay. They even developed their own penalty besides loosing clothing, they had to do a swing around the pole as well. It really looked like they all had a bunch of laughs, now maybe if we could get everyone to join in next time.

Our thanks to Sue for doing a good job as the pit boss, as well as trying to be Andrea, not sure anyone has her kind of energy, but you did a great job. Andy thanks for keeping the table honest and running the game.

We celebrated some belated Birthdays as well 2 of our staff members, Diane (who didn't want us to know her birthday was Sept. 22nd, but she made the mistake and told me anyway) and Andy who missed out last week due to a family engagement. Happy Belated Birthday to you both. Now we just need to find out when Dennis' Birthday is, since he won't share and we'll eventually get him too.

Speaking of Birthday's if your at TMP celebrating your birthday, you are more than welcome to bring a cake. Spouses, we love embarrassing your partner for you, we will get them out on the floor and sing to them in our wonderful TMP fashion, so let us know you've brought a cake and we will help you celebrate your special night.

Pictionary...the best thus far

Friday was a slower night, smaller than our last few Fridays, but a nice group was there and I'm sure they had a good time.

Saturday....Pictionary was awesome! It was our best group game thus far, and everyone had an absolute blast. The entire club played, which makes it that much more fun. We divided everyone into teams as they came in the door, each couple was given a team number. We got all our teams together and they drew their hearts out.

Team 1 won with the most overall points. Each couple on that team got a $5 off coupon for a party. Poor team 4 was a bit confused and needed some help with some unfamiliar terms. The phrase "I'll show you later" became really popular among the players. The question seemed to be "What is that?" . I think we stumped them with some of the more unusual sexual terms, but that's ok learning something new can be really interesting, and we hoped they all learned what those terms were later through demonstration.

The evening went on after the game with our very own DJ Dave filling up the dance floor with our loveliest ladies. J even managed to get the guys to hit the floor for the chicken dance, not sure she gave them much of a choice, but it was all good fun. The excitement from the game carried over into the rest of the night, there was a lot of chatter and mingling going on into the wee hours of the morning. I can't wait for our upcoming games, and hope they go just as well. It seems to be a great way to break the ice and get everyone feeling involved.

It was a big crowd for a Friday, our Fridays have really picked up. The couples that were there, had a blast. We had some really interesting conversations, and just a lot of laughs. That's one of the advantages to the slightly smaller crowd on Friday, you get more of a chance to know the people that are there. It's less noisy and less sensory overload, and just more relaxed and calm. It's a great opportunity to just kick back, laugh, joke, talk and relax.

Saturday was our Leather and Lace night. We had a lot of the ladies that participate, and I have to say you all looked fantastic. Thanks for joining in. We had a lot of couples and singles that haven't been around in a long time, it was really nice to have you back, and we hope we see you all more often.

There's been rumor flying around we hear that TMP is closed or closing, this is just a rumor, there is absolutely no truth to it at all. TMP has been around for over 20 years and it's not going anywhere. In fact TMP just keeps getting better, we've been making improvements and updates all over the club, so if you haven't been out in a while come check it out. We don't know where the bad information came from, but we wanted all of our current and future members to know we aren't going anywhere.

The staff at TMP also requests your help. If you see something that needs attention, or someone is having a problem, or you need something, please see a TMP staff member. All of the staff wears little clear plastic name tags throughout the night, so they're easier to spot. We want to make TMP as pleasant an environment as possible for everyone, but we don't always see everything, so sometimes we may not notice something that you have.

One last note, this is coming from a discussion with some new members this past weekend. We want everyone who comes to TMP to be comfortable being there. I think a lot of people come to a swing club thinking that they have to do something just because they are there. This is definitely not the case. It is your body and you do only what you want to do. There are couples that come to the club from every background, have all different fantasies and are there for all different reasons. That's the beauty of a swing club, you get to meet open minded people who share similar interests, and if more happens that's a bonus. It is more than ok to say no, and if your told no you shouldn't feel offended. It's not something you should take personally, it's just not the right time for that match up for what ever reason and you have the option to stay and make friends or move along to a different person you may be more compatible with. I can't tell you how many times new couples come in the door, or probably never make it in the door because they think there is an expectation for them to have to play with other people. This is not the case, if a new couples just wants to come in and hang out for an evening and never do anything, that is perfectly ok. Anyone who comes in can always just hang out, there is never an expectation for more, it's up to you what you want to do, and you should never feel pressured into doing anything your uncomfortable with. The Meeting Place is just that, a place to meet people.

So looking forward to Saturday, this will be our first ever Sexy Pictionary game at TMP. I'm sure we can even find some prizes for our winning team. The club members who were around on Saturday helped us with some of the words for the game, and I'm sure we will have a blast getting everyone to draw them. So come join us for a fun game, and then some great music supplied by our own DJ Dave, and then who knows what after that. Hope to see lots and lots of you Sexy people there!

Hooker Night Rocked

What a great weekend. Friday nights party was small but the group was great. We had some great conversations, relaxed a bit and got ourselves geared up for Saturday. We had one new couple on Friday who came back and joined us for Saturday's fun. Lots of couples now taking advantage of our Weekend Special.

Saturday night was a ball. The hooker night was a huge success. All of you ladies did a great job not only dressing up but getting the guys money. There were a total of 3 prizes given out that night. We had 2 secret prizes for marked money, M won a month free membership to Swing Towns and P won a $10 off party coupon. The big prize of the night went to M for having the most money. I am sure R and M will put that free party to good use.

It was also M and J's Birthdays so we got them out on the dance floor to help them celebrate. I think they were both a little surprised, but had a great time.

We had quite a few new couples join us for our fun and games and we want to welcome you all to the club, we hope you had a great time and you'll come back and see us really soon. A few of you who haven't been there in a while, it was really nice having you back. Welcome back to TMP, J & C, B & D, T & M, R & S and anyone else I might have missed.

Dave kept the dance floor full with a great selection of music. He's started a few traditions for the TMP dance floor, the first is the increasingly popular "Ladies Dance" . This is a time for the ladies to get on the floor and do their thing without the guys for a couple of songs. The second tradition was done on a dare and just took off, it's the Saturday night chicken dance. You know the song, we've all done it at weddings, well we're doing the chicken dance at the club too, and it fills the floor every time, he usually follows that up with a popular line dance just to keep the crowd going. Great job Dave!

If you have music you'd like to hear that we're not playing, please let us know and we can try to get it for you. You can use the suggestion box located near the back stairs to make suggestions of any kind, music or otherwise, we love to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Sept. 8-9

We had quite a large crowd for a Friday, and we had a good time. A lot of that crowd came back for Saturday as well. People are really enjoying our special pricing of getting Friday free when you pay for Saturday and stay all weekend.

Saturday we helped Celes celebrate her birthday by turning her into a Human Sundae which she shared with anyone who wanted some. She was such a good sport, and we all hope it was a Birthday she will always remember. L did a great job of turning her into the desert, and he shocked us all looking like he'd done this before. We had birthday cake and real sundaes afterwards as well.

Dave did a great job with the music, managing to keep the dance floor full, so full the body heat was overpowering the air conditioning and it was cold outside besides.

Thanks to all the staff that helped out all day Saturday getting things ready, especially the new tables. What we all thought would be a quick easy task turned into hours. Speaking of staff we have added another person to our fantastic team. Andrea will be helping us coordinate games and themes, among other things, but she is really great at getting the crowd to participate in events. So when you see her around say hi. This brings our total staff team to 12, including Phyllis our lovely hostess. You can identify staff members by a tag they all wear, if your ever having a problem or have a question please stop one of them and ask.

I guess that's it for this week. Join us next Saturday for our Hooker Night, this is always a favorite theme at TMP. Ladies try and earn the play money the gentlemen get coming in the door, and the lady at the end of the evening with the most cash, gets a free party on a Saturday for her and her partner.

Labor Day Weekend Rap Up

All I can say is wow. I'm exhausted and need a vacation to rest up from our weekend away, but it was definitely fun.

Friday night we had a good size party. Everyone had a great time and we all probably stayed up way too late.

Saturday was just crazy fun. The Wet T-shirt contest was a total hit. Thank you to all the ladies that participated, you all were wonderful. All the ladies that participated received a $5.00 off party admission coupon. The winner, by majority vote won a free Saturday party. I'm sure S and B will enjoy that, S you did an outstanding job everyone agreed.

We had a BBQ Saturday as well, the food was awesome. We also started our DJ our for the first time and that worked great. We couldn't have asked for a better crowd, it was just a really great party all around.

Sunday again good food, mixed with good people and the party continued.

This was one of the best Labor Day weekend turn outs we've had in many years. It beat New Years Eve. There was a great mix of people, 10 new couples, at least 5 couples who'd been coming to TMP for over 10 years and everyone in between.

I also want to take a moment to thank our Staff, Phyllis and I talked a lot yesterday and she knows all of the work you all put into this weekend to make it so great. I know most of you did much more than mentioned here, but these were the areas where you really made a big difference and I just want to acknowledge that. Andy, great job getting all the DJ stuff set up and taking care of all that needed to be done there. Celes, your just awesome as always, don't know what we'd do without you, thank you for all the prep work you did. Diane and Dennis, wow you 2 just worked your butts off, and I know you were exhausted right along with me, but I couldn't have gotten it all done without you. Dale thanks for taking all that time with the grill, we all know everyone loved the BBQ. Dave great job with the music, couldn't hardly tell you were nervous as all heck. Diane and Andrea, awesome job getting all those ladies into those white shirts. Darlene and Rick, thank you so much for all you did and the food you prepared, you are both just wonderful. Omar, ok I know it really wasn't work and you had a blast getting all those ladies wet, but still you did a great job of soaking those T's. Sue thanks for making sure everyone got their coupons, we were so glad and surprised to see you both, we miss you guys when you can't be there, we all wish you a very speedy recovery. Mary thanks for breakfast Saturday morning, it was really good. To our 2 silent staff members (you know who you are), thank you also for everything you did before, during and after the parties, it means so much to Phyllis to have you around. And to everyone who helped out in anyway, we truly appreciate it, even just to those of you who helped clear your own tables, it makes such a big difference to all of us. This weekend showed completely just how important team work is, and our staff team and everyone who pulled together to get everything done that needed to be done just can't be beat.

Now that we have a full staff and a great team working together to make your club experience better, we also have the opportunity to provide even more fun events, games, and themes. We had a good sized crowd for a Friday night party, the majority stayed over and took advantage of our Summer Special, getting Friday night Free when you pay for Saturday night on Friday. Since it's been such a big hit, we've decided to extend the summer special into fall. So you can still get Friday night Free when you pay for Saturday on Friday. Saturday night's party was really interesting. The crowd was great, a group had a nice game of Truth or Dare going on in the loft. Another group had some fun in the massage room and even another group in the long room. It was great there was hardly anyone downstairs in the meeting area almost all night, everyone was upstairs having fun. The loft group got really interesting because we had a professional Dom up there with his 2 submissives, he gave an awesome demonstration to a couple who was curious about that lifestyle. Many club members went in to watch, and it was really a great demonstration. Even those members who had no interest in BDSM couldn't help but watch and I think everyone learned a little something. The guy knew his stuff. We have asked him to come back and give a demonstration to the whole club, he agreed and as soon as we know when he's available we will post some more information.

The menu is finalized for next weekends Labor Day 3 day. The menu follows:

Sat Nite-Truth or Dare

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who didn't make it down to the Meeting Place last nite, we really missed you and you missed some great times. Last nite we played "Group" Truth or Dare, and I have to say "There were alot of good sports" I was actually impressed by the number of people who actually played along, there were a few bumps (some of the dare's were a bit more than some could handle) but all in all everyone seemed to enjoy the activities. There were a few new couples, or couples who have only been there one or two times, I really want you to know that your participation in the game was wonderful.....

To all the great "Staff" who have been working so hard on the changes at the Club, Thank You, it has been noticed and keep up the good work

Truth or Dare at TMP

This coming Saturday Aug 19th, we will be playing Truth or Dare. Our couples last weekend spent time coming up with all the Truth and Dares for you, so they were chosen by your peers. There were some interesting ones and this should be an awesome game. Even if your not interested in playing the game, you should come and watch, I'm sure we will see some very creative, sexy talents on display.

What should we wear

First remember your coming out to meet other people, so dress to impress is the best way to go. Does this mean you have to wear a tux and evening gown? No

Most people who attend the parties wear comfortable casual clothing. Anything from skirts and heels for the ladies to jeans and tops. The men wear Polo shirts and slacks to funny T-shirts and Jeans. The key to dressing is remembering to look clean, no holes, or grease marks in your clothes. A lot of the ladies will show up in everyday jeans and a t-shirt and go into the locker room and change into sexy club wear. Wear what makes you feel comfortable, but remember that what you wear is the first impression about you people get.

Upstairs in the playrooms, street clothing is not allowed. Many of the ladies wear robes, lingerie, and even a few just pj's. For the men, it's usually boxers or lounge pants. Feel free to bring slippers or flip flops for walking around in. Again what fits into your comfort level.

Throughout the evening you will see couples dressing down, there is no specific time for this and if your not planning on going upstairs you do not have to dress down. You will however see people in all types of night wear downstairs as well at in the playrooms.

Singles Policy

Single females are always allowed to attend TMP Parties. The cost for a single female membership is $60 a year payable in 4 payments of $15, or if you pay it all at once we will give you a discount of $10. Parties are free except for Special Occasions and Holiday weekend, then we ask for a $10 donation or for you to bring an item from a list we provide. Please e-mail we_swing_4_fun_in@yahoo.com for the current list.

Single males are only allowed to attend TMP events after they have completed our screening questioners (to get the questioner send e-mail to we_swing_4_fun_in@yahoo.com with the subject line single male), and then attended a personal interview with the staff on a Saturday afternoon. Once approved by the staff single males can choose to join the club. Single males can also be sponsored by a couple or come with a single female. If coming with a couple, please make sure you call ahead to make sure there is space available for a single male.

Single males pay the full membership like a couple of $60 (if using payments) as well as the couples cost for parties. (see Costs and Fees) New single males, we ask that you pay your full years membership of $50 at the time of your interview. You may use payments for renewal as it comes due.

All single males MUST call the club before coming to any event. We do limit the number of single males per evening based on the amount of couples and single females. If you are told no for a particular night, please try again we just had too many single males already when you called. If you come and have not called you will not be allowed to stay.

Please remember this is a swingers club, not a whore house, do not come to the club expecting sex, there is no sure thing. This is a place to meet people and mingle, sex is just a bonus.

While you are more than welcome to talk to and introduce yourself to others, never touch another person without their permission. Don't assume also because a couple(s) is having sex that you can just join in, you must be invited to participate, if you haven't been invited keep your distance and leave the couple(s) alone. This is common courtesy and should be followed by all club members.

Single males only get 1 chance, if you break the rules, don't act like a gentleman, or become a problem in anyway, you will be asked to leave and never return.

Husbands that want to attend as a single, you must also call the club to make sure we don't already have too many, and we must speak with your wife and make sure it is ok with her that you come alone. Do not show up with a membership card with both of your names and she is not with you if we have not spoken with both of you first, we will turn you away at the door.

Both nights single females are free with paid membership, unless it's a holiday then single females are $10.

Occasionally we have special events and Holidays, those parties are usually a bit more and the prices will be posted on the web site or you can call the club to find out about those nights. We do not take prize coupons or offer Friday specials on those parties. Our Holiday parties include: New Years Eve, Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, and Halloween.

You must present your membership card at the door each time you attend a TMP party. If you do not have your card we'd be happy to make a new one for you, but we will charge you the membership fee again as well.

Club Rules

1. No means NO! This applies to either gender at any point in any situation. If you are feeling uncomfortable in any situation, a no thank you should be sufficient. You should ask permission before touching anyone. This also means if someone is sleeping you leave them alone.

2. No illegal drugs are to be brought on the premises, this includes the parking lot, if you are caught, you will be asked to leave and not return.

3. No prostitution allowed, if your caught you will also be asked to leave and not return.

4. You must present your membership card at the door everytime you come for a party. Not having your membership card will result in you having to purchase a new membership at the full membership rate.

5. No cameras, video or recording equipment permitted in the building, this includes camera phones, please leave them in the car.

6. No smoking, eating, drinking or street clothes allowed upstairs or the hot tub area.

7. No cigar or pipe smoking of any kind in the club, if you wish to smoke those please step outside on the back deck.

Breaking the rules will either get you a warning or you will be asked to leave. This is up to the judgment of the staff. Continuous disregard for the rules will terminate your membership for good. If you are asked to leave or banned from the club, no refunds on membership or party fees will be given. If you are having a problem with anyone at the club at any time please see a staff member, we'd be more than happy to help in any situation. If you don't tell someone there is a problem we can't help correct it.

Well The Parties this weekend were just awesome.

Friday was a smaller more intimate party, but everyone seemed to have a good time.

Saturday's party was on the wild side. We had 8 new couples in attendance, welcome to all of you, we hope your time with us was awesome and you'll be joining us again soon. The Black Jack game was a success, we could hear those members playing laughing all the way upstairs, this is what it's all about getting out for some great laughs. I'm still not sure why that guy was standing on his head, but hey what ever makes you guys happy.

I just want to take a moment to thank the double D's, you 2 did an awesome job with all those tours, I know I kept you really busy and you just handled it all so great.

C, you did a great job on the new additions for the bathrooms, it looks so nice. We're getting there girl, we just have to keep going.

Thank you as well to all of you that sat up late into the night (well ok early into the morning) and helped us with the cards for next weeks Truth or Dare game, I hope since you all helped think them up your not all too chicken to come and act them out. We had a blast thinking them all up with you, your ideas were great and they should make for a very fun game. You can really learn a lot about people when you ask them to help you think up truths and dares....Some of you all have some wicked fantasies....Absolutely awesome.

Don't forget next Saturday along with our Truth or Dare game we'll be celebrating Dave's and B's birthday's, come out and help them celebrate, along with anyone else we might not know about yet.

Lots of changes coming

Friday night was another great party, our biggest Friday in a long time. Thanks to everyone who came out and had a great time.

Saturday even better, must have been a great weekend for swinging. We had at least 3 new couples, I didn't check them all in this time so I am taking my best guess. We had our fun and funky tables back again bringing everyone in on their laugh fest. I know they were all having a great time over there, I joined in with them for awhile, you all know who you are.

The new set up in the long room is a big hit, I personally like it better myself too, and we all know the couples are enjoying it a whole lot more, there's hardly a time when it's not being used.

Keep watching here for more updates and events we are making some serious changes for the better and we just hope everyone is enjoying them so far. Please feel free to use the guest book to make suggestions, we're always happy to listen.

On a personal note, I want to take a moment to thank our staff for all that they do, TMP wouldn't run well without all of your support. To those of you not on staff that help out when you can, we really appreciate all you do as well. It's really nice to know your associated with a group of people that are so giving. A Huge Thank you as well to the couple this past weekend who brought in all the goodies to eat, they were a big hit!

I want to also send well wishes to Sue and hopes for a speedy recovery, we're all thinking about you sweetie and hope everything turns out really great for you, we can't wait to see you and O back again, let us know when and we'll have to do a special dinner or something. I guess we missed another great Friday night party. A lot of couples are taking advantage of our weekend special getting Friday free when you pay for Saturday, so the Friday parties are really picking up. I was glad to hear that the party was so nice.

Saturday, 3 new couples joined in on the fun. It was a quieter crowd than last weekend, but still a great time. The new set up in the long room upstairs was a big hit and everyone really enjoyed the feel of the room better. If you haven't seen it yet you should come and check it out.

We're working on some more changes too. In the very near future we will have a DJ every weekend, some new contests and games, and even more theme parties. We're also open for suggestions, if you have an idea, why not add it to the guest book, or speak with one of the staff while your visiting the club.

I want to thank Sue for her patients while we got her set up here, I guess it finally worked....lol
we missed you guys this weekend, hope your doing ok.

As soon as we get our events calendar together I will get all of that information posted here so you can plan for future parties. Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend, we hope you enjoyed yourselves.
