The Meeting Place

Last Saturday we had our Country Western night, I will say as far as dress up themes go this was probably our best participation from all of you. It was so nice to see so many people participate in the theme. I don't know about all of the country music though, that got mixed reviews, although Dave did manage to give us some music to dance to as well. It was a great party though.

I hope all of you that attended had fun, I know we saw a lot of faces we haven't seen in a long time, so it was nice to see you come back. That seems to be a trend with a lot of the members who haven't been in a year or 2 coming back, so we hope to see more of you.

Don't forget this coming Saturday is not only the newly wed game but also the pot luck BBQ. So we're starting the party at 5:00 instead of 8. If you were there for the last Newly wed game, we are changing this one a bit and making it more like a game show and hopefully a lot more fun. So plan on joining us. If you bring a dish to share you get $5 off at the door. It would be great though if you could let us know ahead of time what you were bringing so we don't end up with a bunch of the same ones. We've also brought back the summer special, so maybe join us Friday and stay for the whole weekend, for just the price of Saturday. For details see the yahoo group, or check out the bulletin board at the club.
